The given are rich soil, adequate rain, and essential sunshine; the additions must be an Agriculture co-op within each state and primary extension offices at each university to the Min. of Agriculture with a branch extension office in each state; cow manure and compost developed in the north and sold to farmers in the south; food and hay sold to cattle keepers in the north. I was in South Sudan in 2009-2010 with USIS and I am a farmer from the state of Mississippi in southern USA. I hope to be back in South Sudan early in 2021.

Those are good reasons to farm Beny Kuodit. If God is gonna bless me, I will take part in job creation in my home country like he did. The other thing I appreciated from Kuoldit is how he answered the question of liberation from Journalist, Mading Ngor.

dear Kuol Manyang, the last time I saw you was late 1987. I remember your wrath. Sometimes, we must follow orders but when those orders are not respected...our civilian population suffers. I remember you whooping some parents asses because they refuse to contribute their children to go to Ethiopia and learn. I was there and I know you and John Garang meant well. I know that my friends have died along the way but our journey was for the better of our people. Thank you brother for sharing this.

-We are a hard working people and we must respect ourselves....and obey 10 feet distance from yourself and others. It may seem mean but lives are saved that way. I'm in Canada and we are doing well to contain this monster but our human stupidity has no limits. We never listen...and those who never listen always get hurt. Be kind, be you and never forget to share your feelings on youtube.com

The sad thing is that when a project is implemented and succeed in South Sudan it is likely to be by NGO'S but what programs does our government have for its citizens to help them become self sufficient and what has the the ministry of agriculture done for local farmers to learn new skills and what about insecurity in places like Jonglei state, yes our people might be lazy but the government isn't doing enough, It is great that Kuol Manyang is being a role model but most South Sudanese are less fortunate and cannot afford to pay for a tractor.

"When we live, we need to eat and when we need to eat we should produce what we need to eat" My great leader aka Kuoldit has said it all... All the citizens should rise and embrace Agriculture as the only mechanism for sustaining our survivals.. Thanks for great exemplary leadership Kuoldit... Long live to you!

The agricultural industry in South Sudan should be sustainable, to include space for animal habitats especially honey bees for pollination to optimize the productivity of crops. The wealth of South Sudan is not oil, but agriculture. Which man can eat oil? Of course, let oil revenues bring agriculture.

The army should be evacuated from the villages they are now occupying so that civilians can also make use of the land.
