Look at the minimap at minute: 18:29 you will see an alert in the red player area and some small blue spots, that is where he used the Tartarus Gate
I like Yodesla but in the last game an Eathquake was happening on the other player base while he was talking sh1t with the chat and didn't saw it
Not sure people know how to get the most out of sky passages. Especially now that you're limited on the number you can build. Sky passages work great for defense. Put one at your main base and one at each of your expansions. That way you can send troops anywhere you need them AND send your citizens to safety if you lose your town center.

Edit: Also at 20:35, you can see curse affect fire siphons. Hilarious, but prob a bug.

Brother, I wouldn't look too much into what people on Twitch think. A vast majority of the gaming population is entirely intolerable, hate their own lives, and should be completely ignored. They just take that out on others and will troll to get under your skin; just move on to the next video.

Did the cyclops special ability cancel the heroizing animation on the Atlantean unit at 6:05 ? I would be interested to know if you can stop a hero from being created that way, might just be a bug though

Another Greek bites the dust.
I have subbed to 4 youtubers that cast AoM Retold replays/streams and in 8 out of 10 matches the Greeks lose 1v1 against Norse and Atlanteans. They seriously need a buff.
I think in general atlanteans are tough to play against . Their counterbaracks switches up how build and raid. In early game you cant just go light cav and raid them for katapeltes... You need to have a extra troups of light cav to go for tuma and chierroballistae to flank and also need call out their front with infantery and toxotes. Makes military lotso more complex than vs other pantheons. If you do not get that you are screwed from the start. That heavily favours pro players. And conterunits are not that effective vs myth. Low base damage even as heros... So nice myths are big then too
@@thefench1Man, the Greeks lose to almost every other civ (except Egyptians who the developers removed at the last beta test). 8/10 or 9/10 lose to Norse and Atlanteans
@@queldronhonestly i cant give ya numbers for mid elo cuz the samplesize is to small but keep in mind that greek players are comfort zone ones. Weve seen some nice victories for greek to here at yodesla. Right now you just may analyze each game individually and this game the atlantean player was simply better for his production value. The greek had 2 herpes a free cyclops and one other unit when the azlantean already had a small army. Heros wont carry you home alone. This greek player had less momentum than the atlantean and had not a clue what to do vs him. Not that i would do better so. Im hopeless playing myself :)

@@queldron yeah ive got that... still are you sure its not that the greek in those games is the inferior player but the weaker pantheon? I didnt see so much matches...? Also Yodesla maybe has some numbers here for us. Yodesla how is greek win rate in matches youve seen?
