I think what really drives it on home is how this time, like Kirby Return to Dreamland, you actually SHARE lives. Who boy. Can imagine if NSMB Wii was like that?

I remember when we used to play RtD together, I was always player one bc my brother liked to be anyone else. Sometimes, when he died, he would wait until the mid-boss or a quick timing challenge to spawn back in. For NSMBW, though, he isn't that great because he sometimes panics and instantly bubbles, causing us to lose a star coin or two. He sometimes sacrifices himself or vice versa though

it's a damn easy game, except for Champion's Road. The difficulty curve instantly spikes exponentially there. I have yet to beat level Crown-Crown with any non-floaty character (ie Mario, Luigi, and Toad)

Get some other controllers and put Mario, Luigi and Toad into bubbles and hope they won't get popped on the way to the flag poll.

Take each obstacle one at a time and try not to over-complicate. Try starting with Tanooki leaves - one worn, one in reserve. You'll need one for the block section, and the other as an extra hit point for the dash pads. To make sure you don't over-shoot a jump, ground-pound when your shadow is beneath one of the pads. And most importantly, DO NOT PANIC.
