      I think the much more important question is how do you determine which generation it is? Auto ID by VIN doesn't always work and is time consuming. Must be a better way than trial and error (what I've always done).

      @@jackgates6949There is a Kia Forums website and they have every model categorized by generation. That would be one way. Another way is Google is your friend and search for the model's generation code by year. Should take about 5 seconds. There is probably a Hyundai/Kia page with all the models and years divided by the generation code. Bookmark that link to make it easy.
