The guide to geometry dash.
Portals:
Every portal does something different to the player depending on the colour, size or shape. Here they are:
Green: Icon/Cube. The cube is the regular happy looking block. It jumps when you click and- well you know all about that little guy.
Purple: Ship. The ship is a rocket ship. It falls when you don’t click, and when you click/hold it flies.
Red: Ball. The ball is a sort of razor blade that changes gravity when you click.
Regular orange: UFO. If you’re good at flappy bird, the UFO is just flappy bird.
Regular blue: Wave. The wave is similar to the ship, but moves in a zigzag instead of a regular move up.
White: Robot. Similar to the cube, but the jumps are rocket boosted depending on how long you hold when you click.
Dark purple: Spider. Similar to the ball, but instead of slowly switching gravity it teleports at the speed of light.
Small yellow: Gravity switch. It switches you to go upside down.
Small blue: gravity switch. It switches you to go back normal.
3 small orange: Mirror. Makes an illusion that you’re going backwards.
3 small blue: mirror. Stops the illusion that you’re going backwards.
Small pixelated purple: Mini. Causes the player to turn tiny.
Small pixelated green: Mini. Changes the player size back to normal.
Orange half-triangle: Dual. Causes an upside down opposite version of the player to appear. If he dies, you die.
Blue half-triangle: Dual: the opposite version of you will dissapear.
Blue/orange circular portal: Teleportation. When the player goes into the blue portal, he comes out of the orange. (Portal reference!)
Speed portals: 1 arrow (blue): normal speed.
2 arrows (green): fast.
3 arrows (purple): really fast.
4 arrows (red): ultra fast!
1 backwards arrow (orange): slow.
Orbs:
Yellow: normal. Jump in mid air.
Pink: small. Mini jump in mid air.
Red: giant. Super jump in mid air.
Blue: gravity switch. Switches gravity.
Green: gravity switch. Gravity switch and jump.
Black: fall. Instantly brings you down to ground.
Green arrow: dash. The longer you hold the further forward you dash.
Purple arrow: gravity dash. The longer you hold the further forward you dash, but when you stop holding it switches gravity.

The two portals just mean there are two changes happening. When you went from upside-down rocket to right side-up block, you are changing from flying to jumping with one portal and upside down to right side up with the second. Hope this helps, because there are many portals with different functions and different colors. If you memorize the colors, you can see what's coming up to prepare yourself. Hope this helps, and if you need more help you can ask!! Good Luck!!! (Also, if you have the full version, you should try some creator levels. I recommend levels by TriAxis, such as Unity! Access these levels and make your own levels by choosing the option on the right of the play button on the menu! Enjoy!)
Also in case you didn't know, you can hold your mouse down for the flying mode, and release it to go down, vice-versa for upside down

For anybody stuck on Jumper:
Listen, Jumper seems really hard, but once you got it down, it's easy.
And also, when you beat it, it'll seem as easy as nothing.
Took me about 200 attempts to beat it once, then 16 to beat it with the last two coins.
So whoever is still trying to beat Jumper, you can do it!
Also, good tip for all levels: DON'T LOOK AT THE CUBE. Look what's coming up ahead, and the cube will just be a blur next to you.
Also, it's a RHYTHM game. Try to listen to the music to time your jumping. Dan's just being an absolute shitter because he has zero sense of rhythm.

The two portals are because when your changing to the normal cube, you are and upside down ship. So if you go into the cube portal while being upside down, you'll still be upside down and the second portal is to make the gravity normal again

Dan, When you are stuck on one part of a level, just stop auto checkpoints and practice that one part. Here is an example: Say you are 43% in and you can't get past the next part, stop auto checkpoints but keep a checkpoint on 43%, so you can practice the one bit over and over again.
There's more to the game than you think... The Vault of Secrets, The Vault, The Treasure room, The Basement in the Vault of Secrets, The Gatekeeper, The Lost Gauntlets, and much more that you need to find
