Bought RTR 200 4v 2.0 bike on 12-09-2018 which is my first bike. Till date 05-12-2018 I have visited the service center for atleast 6 times because of cold starting issue. There was other issue like sound near the engine which was "other then engine sound" for which they lubricated the sprocket and gave but the issue recurred, The handle bar doesn't turn to left freely for which they told" Caliper is mounted on to right because of unbalance it wont turn to left freely" I stay in Bangalore and it hardly drops to 18°C but the bike won't start in the morning for which they told " Use choke to start the bike in the morning and all the RTR 200 vehicle has to be started with the choke ON to start the vehicle in the morning"
It's even specified in the manual that we need to use choke when cold starting the engine, I always use it for 2-3 seconds and let the engine idle for 30 seconds or something until I wear my riding gears. When you move the bike forward, you might hear a sound; no amount of lubricant on the chain or the sprocket will make it go away; its just a simple thing and as far as I've observed, its not hindering the normal movements of the bike or the usage. Mine freely moves directions, however, when you see while sitting on the bike, the right side will have less gap between the fork and the side panel/air duct than the left; this is also by design; however, the free movement of the handlebar should be there; I suggest you to try a different service center. Good luck!
Congratulations. Check the idling and clutch movements when taking delivery ; if you use the horn a lot, check the battery level at the time of service as RTR200 has two horns and always on lights, over use of horn and not travelling much will result in low battery.
160 has a slight edge over 200 when it comes to this, but more or less they're quite similar. 200's pillion seat is comfortable for city riding within 30-40kms; it's almost flat and and inclining/sloping.
I have second thought on colors available - currently they are offering Matte grey + yellow , glossy white and glossy black. This is the only brand which has consistently "lied" in its ads, their brochures, their stocks availability and the information shared to the salesmen. Because every showroom tells a different issue related to the availability of models every time I visit them.
You have a point, but it's just a fact that only white/red and black/red are available; none of the else are anymore. But the bike itself is very good and my service centre Ramkay is top notch; other services center's and sales center's might vary though 😐.
I work night shifts for a US firm, so I rarely be awake during the day time; let me see if I can make some time and do a ABS in action video. But I guess you can find such videos already in CZcams, someone must have certainly uploaded one IMO.

glad to know my chances are getting out of control increasing significantly
Good luck!
Just purchased on 24th September 2018. The TVS 200 4V ABS version cost me 1.4 with PA insurance . Since then completed 52 KM. Loving it. 😍
Congratulations!

What's the exact on road price bro in Chennai
₹1.28 before this 5 year insurance rule
Any cold start issues in the morning?
Nope, but if you keep it off for 2-3 days then you need to use choke for 3-4 seconds. Just one night is not an issue and it immediately starts.
Ryt
Can we remove those red graphics stickers?
Nope. Not unless making the bike worse & leaving behind glue.
Any heating issue in rtr bro?
Nope
How much money it takes to full the petrol
Depends on the petrol price in your location and which brand/segment fuel you're putting.
Is that the FI version?
Its a carb, remember abs is not in fi yet
Very well explained brother.
Thank you 😇
Bro , im going to receive my rtr 200 on Tomorrow, any tips to me ??
Congratulations. Check the idling and clutch movements when taking delivery ; if you use the horn a lot, check the battery level at the time of service as RTR200 has two horns and always on lights, over use of horn and not travelling much will result in low battery.
@@ratkutti okk bro 😊✌️
Which is best fzs2.0 or this?
This, because of the ABS.
For family man what is better RTR 200 or 1604v .. because split seat uncomfortable for ladies sitting back side ..
Your opinion
160 has a slight edge over 200 when it comes to this, but more or less they're quite similar. 200's pillion seat is comfortable for city riding within 30-40kms; it's almost flat and and inclining/sloping.
I think pulsar 220 is best for family package😂😂😂😂
Abs is switchable or not???
Not switchable, always on.
do this model have matte black color???? pls confirm.... and yes, nice video.....
ABS is not available in Matt Black, only black/red and white/red.
@@ratkutti is the black matte it race edition?
I have second thought on colors available - currently they are offering Matte grey + yellow , glossy white and glossy black. This is the only brand which has consistently "lied" in its ads, their brochures, their stocks availability and the information shared to the salesmen. Because every showroom tells a different issue related to the availability of models every time I visit them.
You have a point, but it's just a fact that only white/red and black/red are available; none of the else are anymore. But the bike itself is very good and my service centre Ramkay is top notch; other services center's and sales center's might vary though 😐.
Superb video
Thank you 😇
U r wrng brother.
The upper side is fuel reserve .
The middle off.
The down is main fuel on.
Owning the same bike..
Yeah, I was saying the wrong thing in the video.
Please perform a test for the dual abs system
I work night shifts for a US firm, so I rarely be awake during the day time; let me see if I can make some time and do a ABS in action video. But I guess you can find such videos already in CZcams, someone must have certainly uploaded one IMO.
What was the waiting period for this bike?
Usually 15-30 days, can even take delivery in 2-3 days if you know someone.
Ok bro thank you...😀
Bro can I know in hw much u got bike bro . where u will stay
₹1.28, T.Ngr.
T.ngr means bro..
If ABS only glows while starting bike and than goes off than??
It turns off after you cross 5 or 10kmph, not sure which exactly.
Normally it stays off and only gets lighted up if ABS system is encountering errors.
