I LOVE this type of video! I have a folder on my Switch just dedicated to real NES games. A few to add: - if you buy the new Getsafumaden roguelite, and get the deluxe edition, you get the original Famicom game as it's own game / it's own thumbnail!! It's only in Japanese though which kind of stinks. The thumbnail is amazing though - the "Egg Console" games put out a lot of old computer RPGs, but they did release Drasle Family, which is just 'Legacy of the Wizard!' It plays EXACTLY like the NES version
That's really cool that they gave away the famicom version of GetsuFumaDen with the deluxe edition. I actually have the famicom cart of that, and it's pretty cool! I really want to dive into the Eggconsole releases at some point. Within the last year, I've been messing around with PC 88, PC 98 and MSX/MSX 2 stuff so I'm really interested in their releases for the switch.
The switch has a lot of arcade, nes snd duper nes collections but unfortunately not many GB ones. Sure there's the random gb game or two in a few collections but it feels sad that they're ignoring a big market as that.
There's a great number of NES games you can add to this list from Hamster's Arcade Archives: Urban Champion, Vs. Super Mario Bros., Vs. Tennis, Road Fighter, Bubble Bobble, Clu Clu Land, Donkey Kong 1 to 3, The Legend Of Kage, TwinBee/ Bells & Whistles, Star Force, Galaxian, Galaga, Galaga'88, Salamander (closest thing to NES Life Force), Vulcan Venture, Gradius III (I know it's a SNES title but it's awesome!), Dragon Spirit and Dragon Saber.
If you like NES stuff it can be worth checking out the VS line of the "NES to Arcade" games. Just keep in mind for many of them, they were tweaked for an arcade experience. My personal favorites from the VS arcade series is VS. Super Mario Bro (which has a lot of changes to the levels to make it difficult vs the old NES version) and Vs. Balloon Fight (which has different stages as well, with many that scroll vertically!)
8:27 it should be noted the physical version of Namcot collection does NOT include every game, you still have to buy some titles separately, Namcot collection is notable for having games made by other companies that Namco only published as well such as Atlus's Megami Tensei and Quinty by Gamefreak of pokemon fame
Thanks for the heads up! Yeah, it's pretty cool that it includes some titles from other companies. If you're willing to deal with some of the games having Japanese text only, then it can be a pretty cool thing to add to your physical switch collection.
I know it’s cheating but my favorite NES game right now is the NES World Championships edition. I cancelled the deluxe edition and went digital, because of the cheaper price. $40 CAD for the digital version. $90 CAD for the Deluxe edition. Also it’s a game I’ll be playing a lot of and it takes up only 437 MB on micro sd card. Digital was a no brainer.

It does feel like it's a bit of an untapped market at the moment. Especially for some Game Boy Advance stuff.

Awesome list. Thanks for the video!
Thank you! Thank you for watching!
I am on a diet. Dr. Mario's orders. Ninja Turtle-mania was red hot in 1990. Our father spoiled us with green Hostess Ninja Turtle pies.
I miss those Ninja Turtle Pies...

Once I get some money together, I aim to get the digital version of Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition soon. Looks like a really nice game!
