i’m a pharm tech and i’m going to go to pharmacy school
working in the industry first made me realize just how - for lack of a better word - shitty most things in pharm school are taught.
it’s this focus on cramming and learning everything within such a short time when most of the time, you learn it on the job at your own pace. (don’t get me started on the focus on just memorizing drug names. every pharmacist i’ve worked with says it’s pointless how much it’s focused on when it’s much more important to learn how they work and the affect on the body. brands and generics just aren’t important to learn)
