    You've caught the travel bug, which is only natural for people of your age and obviously, income group. No sarcasm intended.
    I've been doing this Mumbai Goa run since the mid seventies,and have still not tired of it.
    Road conditions were abominable then,both on the direct route,as well as the one you have taken now. But still,the thrill was undeniable.
    I still travel occasionally on this route and I still enjoy the views.
    Keep traveling and gain enriching experiences. All the best!!

More such trips are on the cards but Goa remains among the favourites!!

    • @ThatWanderingCoupleIndia
      @ThatWanderingCoupleIndia  Před 2 lety +2

      On uphills in bumper to bumper traffic jam many automatic cars had gearbox overheat issues. We saw many cars had to be parked on the side to cool down. The issue occurs when one continuously uses brake and accelerator during bumper to bumper traffic. We didnt face this issue because I always took the car to N when stopped.

    Can you tell what is the exact route you took? After crossing Belgaum, did you pass internal route via Khanapur >> Shiroli >> Rangarook. This joins anmod ghat. It’s a wildlife reserve for the big cats. It’s very risky.
