Luis went from npc character in the OG to become the best written character in the remake, he's like the heart that glued the characters and story perfectly, he easily became my favorite character and i wish he'd survive, capcom outdid themselves there 👏

8:55 This scene was very well done. However, does anyone prefer the original version where it shows Leon literally surrounded by ganados? Here it seems that Leon is managing to control the ganados and without Ada's help he might be able to.

nice to see this... if anyone haven't played RE2 or any original RE in general and just went straight to RE4 they'd think ada is just a character that casually walks around with no difficulties who occassionally yoinks leon... while in fact she can be the MC of her own game herself 😅

If u pay attention u can tell by her actions towards him, her facial exprecions, the way her voice can change when she talks w him and just by her answers that she cares about Leon. Imagine having to fight things that masive and dangerous, being pressured to complete a huge task and on top of that control ur emotions so u wont loose it. Shes a pro, so she handles her feelings etc, thats why everythings lowkey and not focused on this Ada-Leon topic, cus shes in duty with many things on her mind already. As the title of this game is named plus Leons last words to her here, they go on their "seperate ways".

Now it makes sense.
The Remake Ada is basically Capcom's response to the people who hated RE:6 Ada so much, finding her "annoying" for being brazenly 'too smooth'.
Now they've made her more flawed, and her morals more "obvious" than ambiguous and 'mysterious'.
For the sake of whoever of this generation that might find her more 'relatable'.
I understand the pressure of "adapting" to the changes in society and audience, but this franchise has been going down hill for years now.
I wonder if they'll manage to somehow fix this inconsistency and whole mess with the dialogues and stagnation. Special effects isn't everything.

It doesn't going downhill. The sales of remake literally booming for the past few years. Re5 and re6 literally one of their least sales they could ever make. Re4, re4 remake, re2 remake, re3 remake, re7 and re 8 are the ones who keeping the franchise going.
