Lidia is a lot of fun to use in Tekken 7. She hits hard and fast and not too difficult to use but not easy or braindead like Hitomi. Her greatest strength is her mix up game and she's hard to stop once she's in the zone.
To me, I feel like Lydia is a good mix up character for people to use, because you don’t know what she’s capable of.
She’s like if a hard hitting character like Hitomi and other characters like her was also a very heavy stance character. I even tried her in T7 and it was decent, I probably need more time with her but I can tell you, it was fun playing her.
But it’s cool to see you Emery play her, even though you wouldn’t play her professionally or competitively.
Ah yes. They already have 'Technical' Hitomi at home. Osu!

Love what you’re doing bro always bridging the gap between Tekken & DOA although I don’t know much aside from DOA 4 3ds version I do love character designs such as Kokoro and I forget the rich chic I think Helena and the purple hair chic that spin like a top when she fight lol . I love that you can give a non biased and honest perspective on both series I wish more creators were as open minded as you 💪🏾
That’s goal really really, bringing them together instead of diving them. I think it’s the best wash to enjoy both!

Nah fr she’s Hitomi in the flesh. She plays just like a DOA character. Metsu and I have been experimenting with her, and I really enjoy using her. Her combo potential isn't that high, but she deals significant damage with single hits on counter hit and frame traps. Just two or three sequences can nearly deplete your health.

Idk about that but Lidia is for sure a cooler design than Hitomi.
However since Tekken has literally stolen DOA designed (Leo/Eliot) I don't see how this statement is true lol at least not for the OG DOA character designs.
@@EmeryReigns yea right ...not one single doa character design is better than tekken ,, also doa lacks a lot in Male characters .. the only cool one i can think of is Hayabusa .. i get you are a doa fan but you are blinded by your favoritism .. there is a reason why doa is dead and one of those reasons was because it lacked cool male characters

@@EtherealSoul861 We just have to laugh at you since it shows that you either haven't played much of DOA or you have a bias towards DOA. The other cool male DOA characters are Hayate, Bayman, Jann Lee, Gen Fu, Raidou, Genra, Rig, and Bass. Just because DOA lead character is a female doesn't mean that it isn't a great fighting game. DOA giving the females more spotlight than other fighting games make DOA unique. DOA has shown several times in the past that it can stand in the ring with other fighting games. Compared to Tekken, the older DOA games have aged a lot better than the older Tekken games, showing how DOA was ahead of its time. The reason you think DOA is dead is due to poor management of the latest games since DOA creator Tom Itagaki is no longer there.
