I've got some 3.5in and some 5in jerky j's and tremor shad, which size scrounger heads would you recommend for those? I don't have a spot stocking them locally where I can compare...
How do you reduce line twist w this rig? I used an 1/8 oz w a yo yo retrieve and was twisted up pretty bad.

The scrounger I picked up doesn't swim like that, it goes all over the place...literally...so I'll probably use the strike king rage blade instead.
I have fished a scrounger after i saw Lambert slay them a couple years ago. But i have an issue with them twisting my line, so much so that i a have had to restring my real. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how do you fix it?
The main thing is to use the right scrounger and tune it! I think the Rob and I could do a part 2 on tuning a scrounger! If you see its spinning dont throw it. Also find which pace it starts to spin and dont reel it over that speed.

easy to sell baits when you got a title. I just got into this, but now I'm reading more than a couple guys suffering with major line twist. That's a BIG deal, and I feel it would be appropriate to really address it. Not sure I buy in to one brand won't spin, but many will... what's up? Most of these heads come with a snap (that's what its called), while rarely I do see guys using a snap-swivel in scrounger videos (simply a snap attached to a barrel swivel & can be bought as a single piece), yet some guys complain that the snap-swivel will impede the intended action of the head. What do u think Ryan?
So if I am using a 3/8 scrounger head....then a 5 or 7 inch jerky J ?

Hey Philip! Ryan here, the scrounger used in this video is a 1/4 ounce. You can drop all the way down to an 1/8 ounce! 3/16 is also a very good choice. Try different baits on it as well for your lakes! Check out my personal channel Alabama Bass Guide and give me a SUB! Thanks!
