Thanks to visit Panama you're welcome back. The name Red Frog of the beach is because of the little red frogs on the island forest. the red frogs are awesomes and only you can see them in this island (bastimento), you cann't see them on other place in the world. Best regards ❤.

Off to a good start - bug spray, sneaks, AND free lemonade! 😜 That boat ride looks fun! Might be a bit 🤢 for Andie's motion sickness, though. That really is a gorgeous beach, and man did you get soe lovely drone views. The best though is watching you both get hammered by the waves. over & over! So much fun to watch! "I need a break," too! ~S.

Unfortunately you didn´t have enough time to visit Dog´s island and the "piscina natural" both located in the Guna Yala region, also known as San Blas. It is considered the most exotic and paradisiac place in Panama.

Funny! My Dad's from Temple... so we go up there frequently and I love Tanglefoot. It's a cool little place :) I went earlier this year maybe in February

When you visit a beach like Red Frog or that type of excursion, how do you carry your cash/phones, etc? When you swim do you leave your backpack unattended? Ant tips appreciated. Looks like a beautiful place to visit!!!
Hi Sabrina! We carried our phones/cash/and other belongings in a backpack. We heard that you have to be careful leaving things unattended so it made me quite anxious since we brought our camera and drone as well. We just sat our backpack as close to the water (without being touched by waves) and also by a tanning girl who looked trustworthy hahah
From there I kept a watch out like a hawk - i wish we had been with more people so we could have just taken turns watching our things, but yeah.

What kind of work do you guys do? Have you found the internet reliable enough to support the work? Did you buy a local sim card for phone service?

Hi Frank! We teach English online, but when visiting Bocas del Toro we did not book any classes out of fear of not getting reliable internet haha
From what I remember, our airbnb had great wifi! But islands are always iffy.
We did not buy local sim cards. Andrew has T-mobile which gives him data internationally (its a bit slow but a good deal) I (Jenna) didnt have international data so I just used my phone on wifi. We live in Spain right now and I bought a Sim card here. Its definitely worth it for longer stays. Sorry that we arent much of help for those questions haha

I was wondering about how you would get back. Realize you must have agreed to a round trip.
😂 Yeah we agreed beforehand, but we just trusted that they would show up and pick us up at a certain time... and luckily they did!
The gnarly waves are.the open ocean and you're on a surf break that is famous the world over. That's why the boat dropped you where it did. I've been visiting Bocas del Toro and Isla Bastimentos for the last 20 years or so. .I'm glad you were prepared to suspend your American beliefs and live the island life for while. Come back soon.
