- This custom family themed mini album combines blues and browns for a vintage, romatic feel.
It measures 9 1/2" x 8" x 5" and can hold over 120 photos.
I used 3 different collections from stamperia called........Old Lace, New England and Atelier.
I also used some digital download collections

Katina, this is the most outstanding journal/photo album that I’ve ever seen. So inspirational, for one, and definitely a level of art and execution to aspire to. You have totally set the bar high, but most of all you have shown the world that homemade/hand made can be the highest quality product. What a beautiful album. The colours are amazing and so is the design. Your ability it engineer paper craft to another level is totally amazing. I am on my final page of the ‘Sun Kissed’ Album and your instructions and video have been accurate, easy to understand and lots of fun. That album is beautiful I wished you would sell the albums with no paper on them just with all the where person could decorate it their selves but not as big as that one probably like a 5x7 or 8x8 with all the little pockets and pull outs and magnets and stuff just blank that way a person could use their own papers and embellishments cuz I would like a book like that to do for myself for I could give to my kids one day if I pass away it's something they could have with their pictures in it and stuff cuz I'm a senior and I would like to learn how to do an album like that but if I had one I could copy it for myself and probably make them a small one for them too

Hello from Saskatchewan ! I just found your channel and I am trying to make a decision on which one to buy ! I want an easy one, so I might just go for the love letters :)
I really break down every step in each tutorial so that they are all easy to follow.
I think that they look far more complicated then they actually are.
I've had many beginner scrapbookers tell me that they were so excited to discover that it was something even they could do !

That piece in particular I think I bought from Scrapaholics Chipboard on Etsy. You can find items like this on Amazon and Temu online as well. Type "Steampunk Chipboard Embellishments" into a google search and you'll have lots of options!

The tutorial for this album will be out in a week. I'm just working on the video series now.
I buy my magnets off eBay.
The ones i use are either 8mm or 10 mm wide and 1mm to 2mm thick.
I buy both sizes and usually use the larger ones on the covers etc.

I get my digital download papers printed at my local print on a silk finish cardstock.
That's why that bit of sheen is there!
Oh my! Amazing album! How long did it take you to make this album? How do you keep track of all the flips and pockets? I would have things upside down, sideways and on the wrong page! lol You are so gifted!!

I've ordered a couple of you tutorials and am trying to decide which to start. I love them all! Question... There is so much room in there to put pictures. Have you added pictures to one of your albums and does it bulk it up too much? The slide out part on page4(maybe) made me wonder. Thanks.

I have added photos to some of my own albums and yes it does bulk them up a bit.
But that's why I use the expandable binding and have so many gussets in my page designs.....so things will still close up nicely.
I usually arrange my pictures the way I want them and check to make sure everything still closes before actually adhering them down!

Is it ok to attach the base pages first and then make the rest of the pages? Yes, you can attach the base pages into the album first.
I just like to be able to maneuver things around as I work, so I put the pages all together first.
