Air Canada Express (Jazz) Dash-8-300 Startup, Taxi, and Takeoff from Toronto Pearson

Flying on a Dash 300 out East this year. Here is the full startup, taxi, and takeoff from YYZ as I tend to show more of the airport aspect on my channel than just only uploading the landing or takeoff itself.

At 9:45 you can hear the Prop go into ALPHA mode. Great vid.

Beta means the blade angle of the propellers are adjusted to produce no thrust or reverse thrust to be used during ground operations. What you heard at 9:45 in the video I think was just the after takeoff power reduction going from takeoff rated thrust to a climb power or maximum continuous thrust setting.

They changed the prop condition levers from max which is 1200 rpm to 900 rpm where they stay for almost the entire remainder of the flight
