    Christmas dinner looks delicious. Good job Brooke. My wife is an excellent cook and we too have had Cornish hens on occasion. Very tasty. Cheers...👍🇺🇸😎...

      Thank you! I wasn't a great cook until we moved on to the boat. Now I really enjoy it! Always thinking about new recipes. Cornish hens were perfect for Christmas! Hmm.....I forgot Thanksgiving is right around the corner.

    Another great show. By this episode you guys seem to be on a roll- (actually a couple episode s ago-). where the Journey is what you need- the challenge and process of getting to a place, then landing on it and saying 'whatcha got?". Doing the max experience each place has to offer (climbing to the best views) in a short time because you know you're going to get the urge to split in 2 days (at least in these islands)- ... that you'd rather spend 5 days getting there and 2 days exploring.. than 2 days getting there and 5 days exploring. The anticipation and wanderlust seems like the 'thing' rather than the destination now. I heard that once you start Blue Water sailing you get addicted. Maybe that's what they mean.

    • @SailingOneLife
      @SailingOneLife  Před 2 lety +1

      Hey Joe! You are exactly right! Blue water sailing has a way of capturing your soul and after sometime on land you get an itch to keep sailing. We've stayed quite some time at a few places and when we start to feel 'stuck', we know it's time to sail again.

    Love that your vids always include diving, don't stop, it's such a great part of your (our) experience! But please - that's not poor visibility. Dive a mountain lake or swift river; if you can see your hand on an outstretched arm, it's a good day! Enjoy those Too Short cocktails, B+B popcorn, and keep the episodes coming!

    • @SailingOneLife
      @SailingOneLife  Před 3 lety

      Thanks for all the awesome words, Ja Sail! You know you are right, we've been quite spoiled with some of our diving visibility! We will have some cocktails and popcorn for you!! 🍻🥂⛵♥️

    This was really an action packed sailing adventure. So much going on in this one. The sailing, hiking, hanging out with friends, diving and one of my favorites, the open air fruit and veggies market. The meat market was pretty cool as well. It must be hard on you guys always having so much fun. Stay groovy and stay safe.

    After watching tons of videos like this, and dreaming of this life, I often wonder how long this kind of life lasts and when do you return to "civilization"?

    • @SailingOneLife
      @SailingOneLife  Před 3 lety +2

      Hey William! From the start of our journey, we always said we will do it until it's no longer fun or until our money runs out......which ever comes first! Hahaha at this rate most definitely the second.
      We don't know what returning to civilization will look like for us. This lifestyle has taught us that the 'finer things' in life aren't the things that make us happy. With that said, we will not be looking for the same land lifestyle we had before our sailing adventure. ~Brooke

    Brooke, is sewing new since setting off on One Life? If you had it to do over again would you have learned prior to leaving? Kasey Nightingale

    • @SailingOneLife
      @SailingOneLife  Před 3 lety

      Yes, I wish I learned more before leaving. I definitely recommend a sewing machine onboard. I had no idea I'd be sewing so much out here!
