- In this video we talk about the differences between Free to Play (F2P) and Pay to Win ( P2w) . The biggest take away here is that we are not playing Rise of Civilization anymore, we are playing Rise of Kingdoms which we should be developing our kingdom to the best! This is a great Beginners Guide for Rise of Kingdoms (RoK)
F2P
- I would Say 80% Are F2P, 15 Percent is Moderate Spenders , 5 Percent is big Spenders
- Early game, F2P will have the most difficulty, you need to boost your power fast by collecting items from caves and villagers then join strong alliance
- Legendary Commander Investment , Focus on one at a Time ( get those that are in the Tavern )
- Be Active Join Rallies to get book of Covenant
- Grind barbs to get arrow of Resistance and donate excess sculptures on past glory stage 3 kvk
- Do all the minial task in the events list
- Save Speed up and compete on some events to get legendary sculptures
- Find a good kingdom/alliance
- Diplomacy can be your key , if you are a f2p alliance
- Pay to Win Alliance / Kingdom need f2p this is vital for their member health Pay to Win alone cannot win it will cost them so much
- Need P2W in your team to lead strong rallies and win events ( Ceroli Crisis , shadow legions ) and Free chest also
Pay to Win (Moderate Spenders and big spenders )
- Typically Rally leaders
- Compete for best commanders in the kingdom but be considerate ( if you take all commanders it can hurt your Kingdom )
- learn to share rewards with f2p, this will reduce your cost in the long term
- be nice to F2P because they will be the ones supporting your rallies
- Spending money without strategy can be costly learn when to compete for event ( Know your limits )
- Do not bully F2P if they gang up on you, it would be your end without support in the kingdom you are useless.
Power is not about the sheer numbers , its about trust and support from everyone in the kingdom
Trust and support , those are the power and authority

I'm a F2P, I just started this game a few days back and I think probably my role in the game is to just play the game. Hahahah I just really love gathering resources in the game. Compared to those P2W players I probably don't stand a chance since they'll easily leave me behind. So I'll just play to enjoy.
Hey brother, i am also a f2p and i havebeen playing from 1 year,,😂its hard to progress fast in the beginning,,but when you reach almost 5,6million power ,,all events will be easy for you☺️but only focus on epic commanders,,and keep training armies☺️

I'm a very slow spender almost free to play player, my role is for obvious reasons support, like in rallies, filling structures defending, sharing rss with the whales, and I certainly expect from them that have the best commanders and that bring hell upon our enemies, kind of like that

F2P players are basically a support for the P2W but can't do much without them

im f2p. i always do my best to be active and support the p2w players/alliance/kingdom by joining rallies, defense, and a little open feild fight. as long as i can contribute
I am a ftp farmer/support. What I do is I give the strongest player in my team some resources to help him just a little bit. Everything is going well,10 mil power and we are destroying everyone.
i am f2p/ocassional spender and my objective is growing and working towards t5 and supporting our main fighters during kvk!
should u always be trying to get your city hall up and using speedups but also what if you run out of resources i know you have to farm but do you just stop
F2P - but spent $1 on the minamoto deal, aim is to have some cool looking troops and a leveled up city (not in it for attacks really).
I am a very low spender, but I am playing now since 540 days so I already have t5 and some good commanders, so I think I definitely can be used for fighting in the open field and maybe for flag rally/defence if there is no other t5 player online.
I played 10 days more then you i don't spend money in the game also t5 but only a hand full(2 full marches) i rarely fight but if i do i have tons of rss saved up and speedups to take them down on the open field t4's are mostly my prey amd if i see a solo t5 i crush it with all my marches if i have to the lesser troops get hurt the better

Im a low-medium spender and i think my role is supporting bigger players,whales to be specific.By supporting i mean filling their rallies or reinforcing structures.I mostly try to avoid field fights because there is no way i will do a lot in a field figh but i can be so much more helpfull just filling rallies and reinforcing structures

I am an F2P in Kvk my role is to join rallies and help with building as well as donate reasources.
For pay to win I think they are the shields they take the heavy hits but are supported by the f2p and moderate spenders. They guide the kingdom and get support from most.
For moderate spenders they are the back bones of the kingdom. They help where they can and have similar role as f2p's.
Without the f2p's and moderate spenders the pay to win players would have no support and so would crumble.
All these different roles i think depend on each other.

Hi sinchi I'm new in ROK and I'm new also in you're Chanel from Philippines here. I'm playing for 8 days now and my power is 18mill with Maxx Mina and caocao. But I did some mistakes 😂😂
I'm a f2p person and I just play for fun. I don't care about the game and I won't spend any single dime. But I do gotta give myself props since the more I play the game the better I get. I've been playing for a month and my power is 1.2m. I'm trying to get T3 units fast so I can defend and attack better then reach to get T4.

as a F2p i don't really fight in rallies and garrisons what i do is Use a debuff army to debuff the rally of the enemy or just go all out in the open field, i don't want any dead troops,

@@Shinchi42 i wold like to add that you can get some good legendary commanders like richard and ysg get them 5 1 1 1 and ise them they are not the best but for sure better if you use archers and infatry because epic commanders of infatry (not counting sun-tzu)and archers aren't that good, most of them are situational.
A good tip is to get high level vip so at vip 10 you can get leg sculpture every day bosting your possibilitues of maxing a legendary
The Saltlander osman is a good epic commander.. lohar too. Also you should add that they should max aethelflaed because she is free to max out but it might take a while.. Her AoE is pretty good too
@@skaoksm7171 yes sure but i prefer using minamoto as a nuking commander and i don't usualy attack cities and aethelfed is a free legendary i prefer getting epic sculpture to max sun-tzu which is almost a legendary commander for the skills he has

I am a low spender, I spend $20 a month when I unlock a few legendary commanders to buy the writer of history pack
If I unlocked the legendaries and bought the bundles I will buy gem supply and then growth fund soon (My kingdom is 21 day old, I am 3.2m and got 20k t4 troops)

doesent matter problem is that on every server people spend over 500$'s and those will just rek everybody period i have played many rts games until i realy relized it is just imposible. i got townhall to lvl 5 tp'd to fresh server that just went out 2 days later townhall lvl 14 5$ in ppl who started from lvl are lvl 18 iam like wtf. its imposible you will see later in the game

I'm a mini p2w, 400 days in, about $2k (AUD) in, still no T5. 50m power. My role is to just send troops to rallies and defend with Charles and Ysg if necessary as my tech is almost top. I usually let the T5 players captain while I send troops. I am an old player so I have maxed Caesar and Mehmed, who are unfortunately not very special anymore in favour of those op new commanders. Mehmed YSG on cities is not bad though
You should have t5 by now i'm f2p 550 days in and have 420k t5 troops but it depends on what you are focussing vip or t5 or just upgrading legendary troops. I'm done with my first set t5 now i'm working on my vip
I’m a very low spender and i only spent on the growth fund and monthly gems. im currently at 15m during kvk and i have 34m kills 8m t4 kills and 400k t5 kills. I play smart and i don’t expect moderate spenders or everybody to contribute even if they spend a lot but i expect more from the leadership and the big whales. But i still do my job for the kingdom, keep playing without complaining.

I’m a moderate spender and I believe if F2P didn’t play, this game wouldn’t survive. Balance. I only hope lillith acknowledges this as well and doesn’t further the gap between F2P and P2W.

I am in this 46 day kingdom and this guy has 60M power and I am only 2.5M he attacked my friend before and he also made rules not to attack cities but he attacked my friend city I cant rally him he has t5 and everyone has t4 t3 and he also is in the strongest alliance and we can't do anything🤕🤕🤕🤕
F2p my most valuable thing is the healing speedups/universal becouse if you have alot of those u should be good to go
If you fight alot then yes but i think tech and training speedups are better the more troops you can train the stronger you will be for shadow legion and score better points and better tech also makes you stronger so i invest my speedups in troops my troops never die because i never rally flags only fight on the open field

I really hope there would be a game like this that is more balanced. Ingame purchases are fine, but there should be a Limit to keep it kinda balance with f2p players.
But that will never happen because every game dev wants to make as much money as possible.
Well I'm playing a game currently similar to ROK and the balance is pretty decent games getting popular too and as a FTP I'm among the top of the player base so I think it's alright if your dedicated and stuff

@@abuck9769 it's called doomsday last survivors :) very similar its kind of gaining popularity currently waiting for RvR to release I run 10 accts which are all actually pretty top tier compared to most players because I've grinded alot tryna take advantage of early game and become a beast :D

I am a free to play player of Path of Exile (US version) until I realized how amazing the game is and since then I have gotten a few supporter packs to support the devs whenever a new league comes out that is fire. Of coarse PoE is not P2W
