• GIVING AWAY A HANDCRAF...
Eddie signed my uke after show in AZ a few years back! Waved him down in his SUV at 1am standing outside venue waiting for him to leave, he pulled over and talked to me and my buddy for 15 minutes in the middle of the road and signed my uke! Best story I got!
That’s an amazing story if it’s true. I’d love to hear what you guys talked about , that is if you really did shoot the shit with him.
@@benallmark9671 He was wasted, but super gracious, going through his pockets trying to find guitar picks for us. It took him a few minutes to sign my uke. He did it super slowly and then drew this wave on it. I almost shit myself when he started drawing the wave on it. I did't think I would get starstruck, but I had forgotten everything I wanted to ask him about singing and song writing, I'm a bit of vocalist myself. My buddy got him to sign his shirt. We did small talk for a few minutes about the show and recent tour. It wasn't until later I realized I forgot to ask him all the things I'd really wanted to know. Me and buddy were standing on the side of the road for about 3 hours not knowing if it would never happen, then when it did, I lost all composure lol. I got my uke signed though! And that was job #1. To this day, my buddy can't believe we pulled it off. He wanted to take off after a half hour of waiting, I was like, "go ahead, I'm smoke this doobie and wait right here, I'll tell Eddie you said hello." Needless to say, he doesn't question my crazy ideas any more, he just goes with it. lol

Everything is right again in the world. A lovely bloke (with an obviously brilliantly raised son) got a sick guitar, and Ryan busted out the uke for another great lesson. Al if you’re reading, I agree with Ryan. Learn Not For You and play it for your boy, on that guitar. Play it as many times as it takes for him to get the message 😉

The cynic in me was like “It’s because Kara’s cute, he’d never do that for a big smelly, ugly/fugly male like me”. A few seconds later I decided he most probably would. Glad he got that awesome little piece of history, he seems like a nice bloke
