  • Sir Mark Cavendish, The Greatest Sprinter, Comments On Biniam’s Girmay Tour De France 2024 Stage 3 Victory, “That’s just massive. Cycling is massive in Eritrea. It’s super good for him and for African cycling. He’s a legend, isn’t he?”
Sir Mark Simon Cavendish (born 21 May 1985) is a professional road racing cycling sprinter who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Astana Qazaqstan Team. He is considered one of the greatest road sprinters of all times. Mark Cavendish (Deceuninck-QuickStep) took his fourth victory of the 2021 Tour de France on stage 13 in Carcassonne, securing his 34th career victory at the race and moving onto equal terms with Eddy Merckx's all-time stage win record.

What a classy man! Wonderful to see him evolve into cycling’s elder statesman. Even better to see how all the cyclists (including Bini) were lining up to congratulate him and pay their respects after his stage win. A true peloton don!

He should have retired long ago instead of relying on stacked competition and the pity of real cyclists to gift him wins for a hollow victory. Deep down he'll always know they are as good a result as Armstrong's TDF wins.

Wow, you might need to get a job or at least a hobby. He's a legend because of his years of cycling and plethora of accomplishments. It's pathetically naive that you think you could diminish that with a few seconds of cherry-picked video. Additionally, the fact that you think other competitors "gifted" him any of his wins is beyond laughable, and quite frankly, a major insult to said competitors.
