- Sir Mark Cavendish, The Greatest Sprinter, Comments On Biniam’s Girmay Tour De France 2024 Stage 3 Victory, “That’s just massive. Cycling is massive in Eritrea. It’s super good for him and for African cycling. He’s a legend, isn’t he?”
Sir Mark Simon Cavendish (born 21 May 1985) is a professional road racing cycling sprinter who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Astana Qazaqstan Team. He is considered one of the greatest road sprinters of all times. Mark Cavendish (Deceuninck-QuickStep) took his fourth victory of the 2021 Tour de France on stage 13 in Carcassonne, securing his 34th career victory at the race and moving onto equal terms with Eddy Merckx's all-time stage win record.
Biniam Girmay Hailu is 24 years old Eritrean professional road cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Intermarché-Wanty. At the 2022 Giro d'Italia, he became the first black African cyclist to win a Grand Tour stage after winning stage 10 and in 2024 he won Stage 3 of the Tour de France, which made him to become the first black African cyclist to win a Tour de France stage.
what a great man and his comments about Biniam , i have so much respect for Mark Cavendish, well done Girmay , greetings from Sydney Australia
What a classy man! Wonderful to see him evolve into cycling’s elder statesman. Even better to see how all the cyclists (including Bini) were lining up to congratulate him and pay their respects after his stage win. A true peloton don!
Thank you Mark. 🇪🇷💪🇪🇷💪

@@TheNorthWave360-kb2ih COME BACK AFTER STAGE 8, 👉the history goes like this STAGE 3 STAGE WIN, STAGE 4 GREEN JERSEY stage 8 second stage win 224 points and 96 point gap to the second, some thing NEW to your Ears " BINI Prophesied this win 4 years Ago"👈
@@zxtsf Did he…wow, that’s incredible!
Sir Cavendish - Great cyclist and a Great man.
I agree, Sir Mark Cavendish is the greatest sprinter of all time!
@@TheNorthWave360-kb2ih is he f#ck
He regularly changes bikes before a sprint. In the era of electric motors that's starting to look a little suspicious.
haha, electric bike is not possible to use at Tour de France
How come he crashed, last year,on the last chance he had to win the sprint
Who cares!
he’s not winning in this tour. the end.
If not this year, next year he may win....
Maybe he will be whining again this tour
@@justaguyonabike2055 we wish all the best!
well he did so f**k offf hahahah
This comment didn't age well. Haha.
Cavencrash is the Arjen Robben of professional cycling.

He should have retired long ago instead of relying on stacked competition and the pity of real cyclists to gift him wins for a hollow victory. Deep down he'll always know they are as good a result as Armstrong's TDF wins.
You really need to get a new hobby.
Wow, you might need to get a job or at least a hobby. He's a legend because of his years of cycling and plethora of accomplishments. It's pathetically naive that you think you could diminish that with a few seconds of cherry-picked video. Additionally, the fact that you think other competitors "gifted" him any of his wins is beyond laughable, and quite frankly, a major insult to said competitors.
That's far too much effort to make a point! There was less evidence in the OJ Simpson trial.
But he just won.
@@beagle30 He EASILY won! He's a legend.
