The British Medical Association’s junior doctors committee resumes strike on June 27 following the Government’s failure to provide a credible offer to restore pay. The doctors had announced a five-day walkout on June 27, unless the Government makes a concrete commitment to restoring pay before that. The announcement of the renewed strikes follow Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's announcement last week calling for a general election on July 4.
