#czechRepublic #Turin - Zábava
I have had this song on repeat since it came out, it’s exactly the type of music I would normally listen to. They are definitely getting my vote at Eurovision.
Me too!😌
Its better than Serbia 🔥🥵😅
Already listened to this song a bunch of times over, could easily see it staying in my top 10 til the actual contest.
ahhhh I adore this song, I've been listening to it since they released it and the live version 1000% won me over 😍 I agree it's probably not winner material (as it is) within ESC but it's suits my personal taste so well. I really like that the girl isn't sexualizing herself on stage to sell the song which is important to me, I hope they keep that at ESC. The whole thing just gives me authentic, laidback cool vibes and I love it! I'm really hoping for a left side of the score board for them ❤️ Sorry end of Czechia rant haha
😍
I really love the song !! I think the juries and televoters will both appreciate it !! And i agree with you they don't need dancers, i hope they do something creative with the staging
love this song is en bop
Better than last year!!! I would listen to this on Spotify, in fact I am 😍
This was my favourite in the national selection so I am so happy it won! None of my favourites won the national selections last year so already eurovision 2022 has peaked for me 🤣😅
I like this song a lot. It's not anything we haven't heard before, but it's done well and she got a good mysterious voice that captures your attention. I wouldn't be mad if they kept the staging similair to this because it suits the song. They could mabye give it a bit more BOOM power at the end.
Yes ESC RTE - they should make a lite revamp for the 2nd half of the song .....add something to get more BOOM power ...some sort of "highlight".
It needs a Revamp...
@@GRomance0804 it could benefit from a revamp to give it a bit more power at the end.
I really like this one. It's just some great Scandi-pop - from the Czech Republic (some of them are Norwegian so it makes sense). This is going to be really high in my rankings because it's totally my taste. This is honestly the type of thing the UK should be sending, it sounds like something that'd be high on our charts.
As for results, I've got a good idea where it'd place in the semi final. I think it will probably get between 7th-13th. Televote will probably put it lower top 10 but I actually don't know where the juries will put it. Some people are comparing it to Poland 2018 (low in juries), some are comparing it to Norway 2017 (high in the juries). I think it will probably be somewhere between the two places. I can't see it getting higher than 15th in the final though, probably around 15th-20th. Scandinavian countries will definitely go for it though.
We'll have to see the rest of the competition. If it's a weak year it could get higher, and if it's a strong year it could be in danger.
I was eh on the song before but now it's gone on my playlist and I can't stop listening to it lol. The lyrics are really memorisable and catchy and it's just stuck in my head. Don't get winner vibes from it but I do see it getting a good result in the competition
I like the songs that aren't challenging to sing. Means I can sing along 😁
I like EDM, I think Czech Republic can win Eurovision Song Contest for the first time
While I did want Jezinky to win, I also really liked this one. With the influx of more flashy rock songs expected this year, I like the more clubby, low-key vibe of this one.
I would like the staging for this to be a bit more dynamic, you can tell that they all are confident performers, so a bit more interaction between them and with the audience would suit this a lot.
Escz keeps the same pattern. Strong selections with safe picks as winners. Take a risk, Czech Republic..
I like it so much
I like it. I was worried we would get a year full of Italy 2021 rip-off songs so this might sound quite unique among all the inevitable rock-type copy songs.
If you mean bulgaria - its nothing like manneskin
@@mikestagramming2989 No not Bulgaria. I'm just expecting a lot of countries to make similar songs as Italy because that's what tends to happen. Portugal won in 2017 with a ballad and next year tons of countries sent ballads for example.
@@AdzPower many ESC years have lots of ballads. I can’t think of any in 2018 that was similar to APD. Also, most countries this year are choosing through a national final and I think the majority of them wouldn’t choose a rock song unless it’s from a really popular band. I think we’ll end up with around 4 or 5 rock songs at most and I expect them to be different kinds of rock
Only one like Maneskin, which is San Marino. Blind Channel were much better than them anyway.
This song really reminds me of Norway 2017, that modern EDM europop song, that has a lot of qualities and it is well produced, and you can hear songs like this on the radio 24/7, so I am really confident that the juries will give this entry some points.
I'm more worried about the televote, since Czech Republic is one of those countries that don't do well with televoting, plus Norway 2017 also flopped.
Well, the two guys in the group are Norwegian, so not a big shock that it's got that Scandi sound :)
i like the song, they have 5 months to make some upgrades to it and focus on a great staging :)
Honestly, I don't think they should fiddle with the song. It's fine- the staging just needs a solid punch.
@@AlesiaMichelle i think they could make it more interesting in the 2nd half of the song or atleast at the end
Catchy, modern, trendy, really Nice song :)
I like the song. It's very catchy. I don't think it would grasp me enough to listen to it if it wouldn't be in Eurovision but I definitely enjoy it!
Alesia is my favourie ESC reactor. Even myself being czech, she is not afraid to be critical! Thats the point of every competition!
Thank you so much!
so true about no need for dancers
I jam to this. It's very smooth and current. People have been complaining about the generic nature... but I think that's just marketability and universal appeal which ESC seems to be leaning towards for chart appeal. Not a winner though.
i love your opinion on this, so thoughtful and layered
04:36 Damn, you made a point!! Yes! You're right! I always wondered of which song gbis reminds me, so thank you!!
But I don't call this a negative thing - you haven't mentioned this as a negative thing either if I got you right..
I really like the song and think that it can quality at Eurovision - it's nothing special but it's something people will appreciate and juries will appreciate as well!
But we will see - it all depends on the competition of course.
And about staging: Agree as well, no dancers please!!
To me the staging of Jowst picked up in my head - maybe something like this could work(?)
As far as staging goes, I think Bulgaria 2016 would be a good template. The Czechs' staging for 2018 and 2019 was excellent, so I've got high hopes for this!
I think the video has nailed the staging already. Also a revamp with a huge/challenging note could see this go from a 15-20 in final to top 10 song.
I dont think this is the kind of music a fair bit, but they have definately sold me. Czechia is currently a serious contender for eurovision imo
Did you miss the vocal moments?
Cool
so far we have only seen the music video of the song(not sure the vocalist got some star quality going on there) i will reserve
judgement on this until i heard live on stage.
Isn't it a live on tape performance? For the other contestants especially Annabelle, it sounds like a live recording so that would lead me to believe that the vocal were getting is live and not just the studio version.
I think the juries will back them up but I'm unsure about the televote. This type of music is all over European charts which could make it sound generic to the general public. I think it all depends on the lineup we get for this year - if we have a lot of rock and ethnic entries Czechia will stand out, but if we have a lot of pop and eletronic bangers I fear this may not be the voters first choice. I could see a Lake Malawi moment where the juries love it but the televote blanks it.
Are you watching Festivali Kenges tonight? 🙂
waiting patiently for Eesti Laul reaction
I really like it.
I feel like theyre going to achieve everything triana park set out to do in 2017
This is not Triana, this is more JOWST. Go_A was serving more Triana than this, but I hear you.
It's good. Definitely not a winner, but a good entry with good chances to qualify and compete in the final.
I personally love this song. But yeah this is no winner. Staging wise, i don't see much to do. They should keep the dark/club ecstatic though.
Maybe some laser lights added to it. I agree with the no dancers part.
this entry gives me Latvia 2017 and a bit of a Finland 2019 vibe...
It's like 2010s
Its a song that wouldn't make me change channel if it came on while listening to the radio. That is the best i can say about it.
Why don’t you react to JESC 2021?
I think the kids should just HAVE FUN.
@@AlesiaMichelle everyone should do, and it’s same time interesting to watch your reaction for JESC especially this year, when we have a lot of good songs.Besides that we could have celebrated this year ending with that, and that would actually mean Having Fun!❤️🔥🥳✨
I think JESC is very competitive and deserves reactions as well. But it's Alesia's choice at the end of the day..
Alesia Michelle. You are absolutely right! The kids should have fun!
I think this is a good entry, however Ellis Mraz was the clear winner for me, Imma Be was the Punch needed with singing, rapping etc..... I don't know how much punch This Lights Off will Impact the Eurovision Stage. The biggest question is staging how will it pop on the stage
Hmmm... I like this song but don't love it. I could see in the final but I don't think it will get higher in the top 20. I just don't see juries or public voting for this. Like you said it is early days yet but I can see this easily forgotten
its a good song i like her vocal arrangement very talented just feels very 2018 and a bit shallow lyrical content imo
React to tanxugueiras final performance
staging is definitely gonna make or break this song
They should concentrate on making the most impactful staging they can, as this song can get forgettable.
Middle of the pack to lower half , can lose only in strong semifinal. Only.
Albania best🇦🇱🇦🇱🇦🇱🇦🇱🇦🇱🇦🇱🇦🇱🇦🇱
I must be the only one who doesn't like this. It feels outdated and it's not exciting at all, given that it's a dance track. This may end up bottom of the table.
It’s good but it’s typical Eurovision song
Out of the selection this would not have been my pick. Which is the FIRST time this has happened since Czechia has started doing this style of selection. However, I like the song and will deifnitely not skip it, but we will see how it fares once we have other options.
Not a typical Eurovision song for me. It's a low key clubby song that can be played on the radio. It sounds current.
Typical Eurovision songs are usually outdated diva dance bangers or ballads like Fuego, Replay, El diablo, Adrenalina, Mata Hari and most of the ballads from ESC 2015.
I don't like it:/ it's so generic, bland and boring. Jezinky had the most potential tbh, they wasted a top 15 result.
