6 Modified Macrame Alternating Half Hitch Knot for Your Macrame Project | Macarame Knot Tutorial
Hi Macrame Lovers...
We can get creative with the macrame alternating half hitch knot. Like in this video, I show you some of the beautiful patterns that are obtained by modifying the alternating half hitch knot.
You can use this knot pattern in various macrame projects that you are making. These motifs are a combination of half hitch and reverse half hitch knots.
In this video, I use 4 mm cotton rope and 1 cm thick dowel with the following sizes:
TYPE 1 : 00:06:
- White = 1 x 100 cm
- Purple = 1 x 100 cm
The final result is 12 cm long
TYPE 2 : 03:27
- White = 1 x 100 cm
- Purple = 1 x 100 cm
The final result is 11 cm long
TYPE 3 : 05:57
- White = 1 x 100 cm
- Purple = 1 x 100 cm
The final result is 13 cm long
TYPE 4 : 08:18:
- White = 1 x 100 cm
- Purple = 1 x 100 cm
The final result is 12 cm long
TYPE 5 : 10:22
- White = 1 x 100 cm
- Purple = 1 x 100 cm
The final result is 11 cm long
TYPE 6 : 13:27
- White = 1 x 100 cm
- Purple = 1 x 100 cm
The final result is 13 cm long
** The thickness of the rope and the thickness of the dowel wood affects the length of rope required.
