    .
I use a 14"x14" canvas. All the paints I use are acrylic paints mixed with additives to help them flow more easily. All my colors are stored and mixed in squeeze bottles for ease of use.
A propane torch is cautiously passed over the surface of the canvas to release any air in the paint that might result in bubbles forming while the artwork dries or leaving pockmarks if left to pop on their own. Warming the paint will also often encourage patterns to emerge because the paint in combination with the Floetrol used in my pouring mix encourages cells to form. I add a circle of white paint in the middle leaving the center blank around the circle I use black and blue paint and use a spatula to fill in the blanks swiping to the outer edges resulting in beautiful cell patterns I continue to use the spatula to pull paint and my original plan changes. I try a number of techniques and using a bamboo skewer to manipulate paint, an air tube to move paint, squeeze bottles of pre-mixed colors to add more paint, and finally choose a combination of dragging a ball chain and pulling a basting brush to create new patterns from the center to the outside edges. All kinds of unexpected effects happen, resulting eventually in a very satisfying end.
My "pouring" mixture is 3/4 Floetrol with 1/4 (estimated) GAC800 from "Golden" (prevents cracking and adds shine to dry artwork.) mixed into it thoroughly. Depending on the paint the amounts of color can vary. I like to begin with a half-pouring mixture and half color. After that is mixed VERY thoroughly I add more pouring mixture until the viscosity (thickness) is like warm hone. If I want it thinner I add more Pouring mixture. If the color is not strong enough I add more pigment. When mixing colors my amounts are always estimated and then altered to get the right consistency I like. I use plastic squeeze bottles with measurements on the side. I add a marble to my bottle to aid in the mixing process. Marbles work well but exercise caution if you end up with more than one they will shatter in the mixture eventually. It's imperative (Important) that all mixture be shaken thoroughly once before using in any session the first every time! The consistency is usually medium "body" weight, but other weights are usable with minor adjustments. All my acrylic paints are mixed in advance and contained and stored in squeeze bottles. If you are not using squeeze bottles, I suggest using a container that has a tight-fitting lid or seals the container with Glad sticky wrap. I have often used the 4oz size plastic deli containers, and the paint keeps for a long time in them, but you must stir before using the mix again. Floetrol and other flow agents will rise to the top between uses. None of my acrylic paint has any added silicone. To create the pearlescent effects seen in most of my artworks, I use "Golden's" Iridescent pearl "Fine" added to colors. I add a good squirt directly into whatever I am mixing in. I recommend experimenting to find out how much is enough for your ideal shimmer.
Every day I learn new things. I will never stop experimenting, and I am happy to share what I discover with you.

I have to say, it ended a lot better than where you were starting. I think this was a beautiful happy adventure. It became much more dimensional once you started with the chain and layering of colors. Absolutely beautiful!!

I found my best pieces are when I let go and just see what happens. The chain and baster brush make an excellent tool, I will definitely have to try this one out!

It might not have been what you were going for but I would definitely try to replicate that again maybe using more shocking or as you call them obnoxious colors just to see what kind of effects that you can get. Hey everyone don't forget to give a thumbs up to help Pricilla's videos be seen by more people. Thanks again for the video. @@efluidartstudiopriscillab you seem totally chill. Not trying to share my life story but... i left my Career six years ago to care for my special needs son. Money is tight... five people... one income. Ive always had a passion for art but never found my niche. Ive tinkered in pastels, charcoal, collages, upcycling like making paper beads, knitting, macrame, handmade jewelry, painting, and recently wreath and bow making. The wreaths im hoping i can turn into a business someday but it takes money and time (as im sure you're aware) . If you're not earning a living after all your hard work im seriously having doubts in myself. But... You've got the right attitude and talent to be successful. I will subscribe and follow. The internet is the only place where eventually after much repitioion you might be able to make your dream a reality.Your product is more marketable and more affordable than mine.My advice is put everything on Instagram.I love me Instagram. and get an email dedicated to just your wreath business or business in general.I dont know how I will felel or what will happen after they take all the likes away...but for now its still my favorite socil media marketing potential place .Good Luck! Thank you...I think we all already have what we need inside of each of us to create with unlimited abandon .All that left is for us to allow it out with restraint I have been told and O do believe that genius is truly just focused intent .So my advice is to get focus on a fun paint pouring adventure and let things evolve as they will. We all learn what we want and what we do not want by doing .All that's left is to use what we have learned to our best advantage and appreciate the process and the results for the gifts given along the way.

When you bent down over the painting I saw how fabulous your hair color was! I love your work and enjoy your narration during the tutorials. Looking forward to more fantastic artwork. Happy New Year💕

It's my first time watching you. I like your technique, tools and your daringness to play. I guess it depends on our mood, but I really liked the beginning of the art and personally I would have stopped there. But your end result is also lovely. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

I think it's a shield for some Indian tribe ..a feathery one ..very eye catching ....reminds me of things I've seen in demonstrations of Tribal dancing ...

As you were finishing i had a thought that a triangular center would be interesting. Love the simplicity of this one. My favorite colors are Naples yellow and cornflower blue and darker shades of each, have you ever painted using those colors? I would like to challenge you to create that painting!
