I love this scent. It smells incredible. The best I've put my nose on, in a good long time. How this doesn't get more attention, or love, is beyond me. Great video.
Because there are many much much better scents out there, even in this house. Ppl don’t like skin scents, this one is a weak skin scents. It’s been discontinued because ppl didn’t much like it.

I bought this last year to wear in late autumn and winter (here) when suited up for executive business meetings. I wear TF Grey Vetiver in spring/summer. I like this fragrance and concur with you regarding perceived quality. I have been asked what I am wearing twice (at the end of meetings). I look forward to wearing this when season permits again (way too hot at the moment 36 - 42C).

I'm confused... you say it's musky... according to the note breakdown there is no musk in this one. I was thinking about a blind buy on this one, cause I really like the Tom Ford For Men, but I genuinely hate musk (DG Light Blue Eau Intense literally tortures my soul)... so could you help me if it really has that rancid musk smell, or did you mean something else? I do like smokey, incense fragrances tho.

I tell you.. There isn't a reviewer on youtube who can break down a scent as well as you can... I don't know if this has been reformulated or changed over the years but this one was probably my favorite out of the tom fords I have tried.. ... back in 2009 .. I thought this frag was great.. Its been a long time since I have smelled it though.. Id love to try it again.. I think I did a review on this one back than ...Do u think the difference in performance has to do with the age of your bottle?

William D'Alexander totally different. Noir can be difficult for wearing while tf extreme isn't. But it requires some testosterone, that's true.

The better description of truffle to me, after eating it in cuisine several times, is a garlicky, musty mushroom taste and smell. Pleasant and earthy.

robes08 it's really nice, very fig-y lol. most of the Blu Mediterraneo line are lovely summer scents. I've got the Mandorlo Di Scililia (almonds of Sicily) and it's gorgeous

I noticed that in one of your previous videos you mentioned about reviewing this scent, while doing a comparison between Dior Sauvage and Intenso, I felt the need to smell this.
This is by far without a question the best Tom Ford fragrance that I've ever smelt.
Having previously brought Tom Ford Noir Parfum, my only complaint about Tom Ford Extreme is that it's only 50 mL :(

Agreed....Marc doesn't hand out 10 ratings like rock candy. I just ordered and on its way. I really LIKE Grey Vetiver. Looking forward to trying this. Very expensive hobby I've developed.
Finn I struggle to remember the last time Marc gave a 10 out of 10 rating. One of the knowledgable & honest reviewers, pretty confirmed everything I picked up when I smelt this.
it's so complex for a designer fragrance that it almost passes of being a Niche' fragrance.
Definitely better than some of the Premier Range & cheaper than Tom Ford Noir EDP.
I see myself using this up within months and needing to buy another bottle 😂

I just got this. I understand where this Plum Japonais Jr talk comes from. I literally just sprayed it on but I can see this becoming one of my more preferred Toms. It has some sort of fresher element that I don’t love but I wish it was a little deeper, bolder, darker. (Batch A45)

They used to, but not anymore. You can still find a 3.4 but its rare.. up until a couple of years ago all testers of this at sephora were the 3.4
Just an idea: Can you reserve 5 sec of every review on Scent of the Day? Instead of explaining 10 sec on why you not spraying on your arm. Do show a pic of the bottle in one of the corners as info

Robes08, you mention near the beginning of your video that "we should see" if this fragrance makes the perfect 10 club. But you are giving it away by including that sticker on the thumbnail of your video! Why do you spoil the surprise!?
You do the same with your top 10 fragrance videos. You always include photos of the fragrances that made it in the thumbnail of the video. I don't think you should be doing that.
Claudio Nunez actually the number 10 in the thumbnail is what made me want to watch the video!
This one is too weak, that’s the only problem I see, it’s a skin scent and no it doesn’t last. Tom Ford perfection is Plum Japonais and Violet Blonde, but not this one. I guess if u like weak skin scents then this one is for u.
You are absolutely right. A very light perfume that is not worth the money. And that's why some reviewers advertise it. Шt's just ridiculous ..
The greatest ever by the line up from tom ford is NOIR, I love extreme, but nothing can come close to Noir, private blend just an is an excuse for marketing, but nothing can or ever will beat Noir. Kindly review it ...
watch your review of boss u sent -- need to watch it again--i say boss no smells like we-we. i have one t ford thats the tom ford colonge--to u its office--office-office----i made a boo-boo--it was suppose to be tom ford vetiver--once its here its here. me and i hear only members of plumber local 78 los angeles may lean more towards t ford and creed--the problem is they dont last except adventus---remember the weather in los angeles warmer. they have found some of the older colonges not made anymore but still less then t ford. they have more fun with former designers. at the union hall in los angeles
one fellow got a new tom ford release a while back--he ask one of the girls in the union hall office about the smell she said i can not smell it. the colonge was on about forty five minutes. these guys r rumored to talk colonges in the offices. u know about duds.

I try to do my best to cut them and I appreciate the feedback however the zzzz's were maybe a little over the top lol. I agree to a point and I still have more cutting to do to the videos to stop repeating information, usually I repeat because it's important but I know where you are coming from. Jim S can't please everyone. The way I see it, I really enjoyed the long form video (since this was a perfect 10, it justifies the lengthy description), I think Marc did an amazing job i used this as research in order to buy!
