Camping on an Island!! // Lake Ouachita, Arkansas

We are back with another adventure! We are visiting one of our favorite lakes in our region, Lake Ouachita. This Lake is near Hot Springs, and is a great clear water lake for all activities. Hey, good evening! Great video! So, I found this video research this lake. I have a small group planning a trip up there this summer. Out of curiosity, where did you park and depart from?

Glad you enjoyed the video! We parked and launched from Brady Mountain recreation area. It's a 2ish mile paddle from the boat ramp to the first cluster of islands.

Is the fishing any good there? Largemouth? Is smoking pot legal in Arkansas? Is it crowded in the summer? Thanks

Fishing is good, weed is not legal, and it is busy especially during the holidays.
