The mesh bag is a grocery bag! I didn't realise these weren't recognisable in other parts of the world, but we've had these in the UK for years :) You can't get plastic bags in a lot of supermarkets these days (or if you can, they charge you for them) so most people carry reusable bags. These mesh ones are super convenient because they expand a lot and you can fit lots in, but they also fold up really small! Enjoy!
Also, I think the calendar is adorable! I actually love the wood block! You could reuse it for recipe cards!
Yeh my parents never use them we just buy a new one every time we go to Aldi. We have a room full of them.
I live in the US, like her, and I knew what the bag was for. And you could so use the calendar block for recipe cards.

Besides from indicating which shaker was for salt or pepper, I feel like the shakers should have been labelled as 'P' and 'S' either way since the 'P' shaker would represent Pusheen as the design, while the 'S' shaker would represent Stormy. Even without the character designs it would have made sense (PuSheen) !
Hmm it’s definitely underwhelming for it being the special 10 year anniversary box. It’s no different from any other boxes. I was hoping they’d utilizes the number 10 on the designs but oh well 🤷🏻♀️
Yea I was EXTREMELY underwhelmed. Same with the bonus box just being a random old one, and one I already had .-.
those mesh bags are popular in other parts of the world, like europe! you use them for fresh produce at the grocery store or farmer's market, instead of using those thin plastic produce bags. my old french teacher introduced them to me!

Yeah, the calendar is cheap. I would use the bag as a beach bag. Any acquired sand falls out. Put in sunblock, water bottle, etc.

The bag is great for grocery shopping! We have had these for years in the UK. They expand quite a bit so can hold plenty of veg/fruit etc and they fold up relatively small so you can keep them in another bag for convenience. Also means you don't have to use plastic bags! 🇬🇧 🖤🏴
Yes!! And I believe that they are for avoiding plastic bags because of the environmental issues caused by them. So if you buy your veggies and fruits in that long lasting bag you are saving the earth in some way 😍🌎!!

I have a similar mesh bag and you would be very surprised at how much it actually holds. It expands and I've even used it to carry all my school books, plus folders and my handbag.
The mesh bag was actually my favorite item and it's the one I've used the most so far, so surprised people didn't care for it. :o
I mean they coulda incorporated the number “10” in those designs...

I really enjoyed your unboxing video. I agree with the bag being a dud item. It's like they thought "this box could do with one more item" and chucked in the cheapest thing they could find. I can't wait for the next box!
I only just received mine in Australia, so I held off watching your video til now. I can tell you I had such a similar reaction to the glasses, but after I peeled that protective sticker off I just love them. I think each bix contains that kinda throwaway item for everyone, and the calender is that for me. I'm actually big on calenders, but not desk ones. I actually love this box as it's super usable. After the cosmic one I think the very traditional pastel Pusheen was very welcome and loved seeing some Stormy.
So for the mesh bag it’s mainly used for gaping to the grocery store I have some because I use everything that is 100% substanible. You put your fruits in it so you don’t have to use those little wasteful bags they provide
The mesh bag is for your shopping. It expands due to the way its made and can hold quite a lot x
One thing I will say about the Pusheen box is they'll often put in useful items that I need but wouldn't buy, like a fan one year that connects to your laptop and it was so good this year in a really hot summer so I like the variety though I sometimes wish for more clothing and jewellery items
This box doesnt even whisper winter to me. And it definitely could have been much better for the 10th anniversary. I like the produce bag and the lights though.

@@Reggie2pipoka Cool! These items were so strange for a winter box though. I actually found one of the vinyl figures from one of the summer boxes at a thrift store for like a dollar or two. A shame, but hey, I got an exclusive figure haha.

@@Reggie2pipoka I think is good they are not including that much of winter items in their boxes. Not all of the countries of the world have snow, and cold climate items wouldn’t be useful at all if you live in a warm area.

I came here to say this exact thing. P = Pusheen = Pepper, S= Stormy= Salt? Haha, I think they messed up on those, but they are still super cute.

I feel like the plush ones this year was everyother month. Spring didn't have a plush but summer did, fall didn't but winter did.
Thank you so much for peeling off that plastic thing off the glasses. I was so upset with the glasses too and yeah it was very dirty as well. I am not a fan of the bag either - like what do you do with the bag. The calendar is ok - I am not a fan of the wood block. I like the sprinkles idea for the salt and pepper shaker. I like all the other items.

Cute stuff! I feel like the fruit bag was a weird thing to add though. It's very specific. But also I do not buy enough fruit to warrant a dedicated bag so maybe I'm biased.
You could put produce in it instead of using the plastic roll bags in the produce section at the store maybe.
Wow that would have freaked me out too seeing that clear square around the design on the glass. Very odd! I would hand was fer shure!

Could it be that it’s less of a thing to do small grocery shopping in the US? I know that here in Europe it’s pretty common to carry bags like that with you to buy fruit, veggies or bread or stuff like that, especially if you buy things from a market where there’s no packaging at all :)

If I had those salt and pepper shakers, I would put pepper in the Pusheen one and salt in the Stormy one.

Love seeing you unbox this! Totally agree about the mesh bag. Very much a miss. A key chain does not make an item Pusheen related. The plastic covering the decal isn't a good sign for me. Says they think the design is easy to scratch (which is also why it's hand wash only!). Though they are cute. The calendar isn't even something you can reuse. The cards are only good for 2021 (or you could save them for a few years in the future when the dates align with the correct days again). Seems like a throwaway item and for what they are charging for the box, so not worth it!
The salt and pepper shakers are cute. Pusheen is P for pepper. Stormy is S for salt! But agree that it is odd that both have the holes in the shape of P.

Also the "square sticker" on the stemless glasses do peel off. Just be careful doing that. I have nubbins for nails but after/ during peeling I ended up nicking the design. There's a small hole on my burger Pusheen's head now but they are super cute still and adorable for drinks.
I think once the calendar is over in December all your left with is a block of wood 😳
My shakers came with two "P" s as well, and I definitely thought it was a mistake. Also, when I peeled off the plastic from the glasses, it distorted the design. I emailed the company with pictures, and they replied quickly, promising to replace all of the items, which I'm happy about.
I'm moving out soon so some of the items in this box are very helpful, but this is probably my last box because some of the things are cheap and I wont use.
with the cups it is just you i did not have the stamp box
for the last 3 boxes, the quality of the have gone from bad to worst, I just cancel my subscription I'm thinking is due to covid but until I don't see positive reviews I won't subscribe again. the sizing, the print on items, some of the electronic not working, the figure is the saddest is so cheaply made. I hope to see you unbox more in the future and address the quality of the items and what you think needs improvement.

The purse was def...unusual for a winter box. If i saw that purse in a store i would be really confused as to what it is lol . it's really not that cute on it's own! the keychain saved it lol Also the calendar was pretty strange.

Not very inspiring for a 10th Ann box
I like the calendar because of wood. But I bought Japanese woodworking tools as have rammed earth house building in future 2022. They do special wood piece interlocking join connections for rafters. Helps relieve stress during quakes
as rammed earth done right also does. . .keeps integrity against tremors. Fire proof also, rammed earth. Hope California has a good 2021 after those wildfires. Take it easy as has lasting unseen health effects, sort of like post hurricane does. hobby

In Japan they recorded a medieval builder setting wood pillars in house to face sun like the sides of the trees did on land. They feel reason helped structure last so long. . .good connection to life in resources, efforts done while alive.
Special tradition . . .forest respect and really today globally. . . prescribed fire maintenance needed, like native Americans did until stopped by forest service. Historically fires preventable.
Love pusheen collection, maybe a raw hemp bag good to invest in for fruit veggies. Hemp oldest fabric textile used. Good also, as stores carbon well as crop, does not need as much water.
Plus dyes on stretchy cotton net bag maybe allergy to some without knowing, is loss of vitality cuteness.
It probably is like regular fabric that industry mostly use aluminum mordant which seeps into brain when sick (on center for disease control page). Why Alzheimer's associated with aluminum silver brain deposits. . .for people with sick kidneys. Means everyone really as don't want to wear kidneys down filtering from candy wrappers, prepared food with foil bags etc.
Just need less use for coal by product aluminum also after fossil fuel pollution global warming accused for tree stress and fires.
Other tricks out there to fix the color safely. Only saying as good to know in general as art hobby collector into kawaii. Toys are not really for long lasting quality but when people are ill maybe more notice good.

The cheapest they could make a calendar is not a block of wood and large cardboard. This review is unfair in many ways, and you as a person learned to be overly self-centered to the point of being unrealistic and bitter half the time. It leads to your constant "depression" and the neglect you show those close to you (husband? pet?)
