What a dynamo. What a story of resiliency and determination to be the best mother she can be.i can’t imagine how frightening it would have been for her husband and family. Well Done and best wishes

Any parent can attest to the fact that the first few months of your baby's life you feel exhausted and vulnerable. Add onto that the effects of GBS and the inability to hold onto your baby, and it must feel like the heaviest weight you can imagine. Holly is such a great role model for anyone dealt a bad hand. She's since had a wonderful recovery, became a fitness advocate for managing life after GBS, written a book, kept active with her CZcams account, and to this day she still manages to connect and interact with patients and caregivers alike!

So scary, I had it when I was pregnant into my 7 month . And doctor didn't know, what was going on, but in 1993. By the man above help Dr. See the way. And it's been 28 years I still have tingling in my feet.

GBS is hell diagnosis 9/12/15 effects you physically mentally financially socially. Forget the idea that if you was a fit active person before you will get better quickly (nope). Meself 50 played Rugby Cycling Gym, and here I am nearly 5yrs later, muscle atrophy, essential tremor in both hands, fasciculations in quad and biceps. And I continued saying to my Neurologist this last 14 months I feeling weaker, arms legs etc.. So a EMG test shows nerves have been severely damaged so have MMNCB (goggle). Don't be scared keep on at the Doctors neurologist otherwise you get forgotten.
Currently have two crutches to walk with, balance issues, hell going up down the stairs. Ps. Don't forget the mental health issues please get help with this. 👏🙏GBS fam
