- This trick might give you a HUGE head start next season. Deepsight Harmonizers allow you to turn normal weapons into deepsight weapons needed for crafting weapons. This trick will help you get up to 6 of them instantly next season.

I honestly hope that Bungie eventually makes it so that we can stack them. Also, more ways to get harmonizers would be awesome too.
Probably not tho would make it too simple for people to just get reds. Maybe under lock of GMs or Master Lost Sectors
Instead of GMs it should be master lost sectors as you said. GMs are way too easy nowadays thanks to all the ways we can crowd control with strand and stasis. Master lost sectors on the other hand have no additional rewards except for a supposedly better exotic drop rate

Lots of games are guilty of preventing players from hording. The funny part is that once that currency becomes irrelevant do to some other currency being scarce, then they let you stack
@@Hashxd888specifically solo master lost sectors and they need to have the drop rate of exotics from solo legend lost sectors
You will still need 5 of that weapon as you can't get more than one pattern on each drop, even if it had deepsight before using a harmoniser

Realized that with the Austringer, I had one red border from forever ago, saw banshee was selling one so I bought four and used em all on stringer. Way worth it, my opinion

Our battle passes shouldn't be disappearing if we're not done with them anyways. Just my opinion.
They shouldn't, but this is an industry model, not just a destiny thing.
@@Eyasluna- It's definitely a destiny thing. The season is still playable but the pass is gone, other games usually do it that content+pass are switching or good games like Gw2 keep the Seasonpass forever
@@Ecoxiss Destiny is certainly not the only triple A title that uses this formula for their season passes. All genres of triple a titles have more than one example of it. It's a model that is obviously driven off of FOMO for the creators to keep metrics high and hopefully build a player base, it's part of what is designed to get and keep people playing. If it were the only one doing it, it would have went away already, I would imagine. Many titles have successfully maintained this exact model or introduced it successfully.
None of it applies to me because I get through the content and claim my items. It would be nice to leave many things in all of the previous passes and claim them whenever I'd like though, and I would like for anyone to be able to grind them and claim them whenever they want. I'm not defending Bungie or Destiny, but it's definitely not just a Destiny thing.

IDK... I think it's a good idea in theory, but it's putting a lot of faith in still being able to acquire the Harmonizers next season (Bungie could decide to stop allowing us to do that) & in weapons we haven't even seen yet. I personally think it's better to use them for patterns that can't be unlocked otherwise (like last year's seasonal weapons)

Wow I had NO idea you could claim from previous seasons. Just tried this out and it worked like a charm. It even opened up the bottom row, which I didn't previously have access to because I didn't buy the annual pass until this season. THANK YOU!

DON'T DO THIS! Deepsight harmonizers don't stay in your former pass. Unfortunately I know first hand. I kept 3 and when I went to go and grab them that spot was blank in the former season pass. Use them or lose them.

I hope that a majority of the people that watch this short do not listen to this, unless you literally have all the other craftable weapons that you want do not do this . This is literally just wasting your harmonizers on weapons that you will be able to easily get
I think they should add harmonizers to high endgame content for example gms, or trials, or master raids/dungeons
Bungie has already started removing older season from claiming. I believe season of the lost or risen and earlier so far. They may remove more soon. It's risking to hold on to them

They said they're taking away the ability to access past season passes....keep that in mind too.

Did they? I think you always have access to the previous season, its the one before it that you'll lose access too IIRC.
This is what pisses me off we pay money for everything on that pass but only able to use one at a time and can only have 1 in inventory
They didn't say that. You can always go back one season and pull all rewards you've attained on any platform, nothing past the level you aquired during that season though.
The current method of going back to any previous season requires third party web browser tech on pc only, and I personally wouldn't trust things like that but to each their own. This was a thing before bungie allowed us to do it for one season previous, so.. I doubt they'll be able to do anything about this either for those that choose to.
We are getting a new raid next season, so I'm saving them for the new raid weapons and be able to craft at least one of them as soon as it drops

seems like a waste. i'd rather get an old weapon that is otherwise unobtainable instead of getting a raid weapon which you can guaranteed get with a little patience

Another example the austringer, gun smith sells them as well

Note it was confirmed awhile ago that previous seasons were completely deleted and so this extension cannot grab that data anymore. It is possible that they will make it so you can't grab things from previous seasons at all. So be warned
It actually can bc there are extensions that allow you to grab stuff from the first seasons

Maybe they are only deleting seasons from past expansions otherwise it would make no sense for them to end up deleting season of defiance when that season wasnt too long ago

Yes, this worked for this season with Harmonizers saved from Witch, so hopefully, it does next as well. But, we haven't had a new expansion yet since these came out so we're not 100% sure it will work, though everything says it should.
Used my last seasons for the Kept Confidence on day 1 and used like 2 of this seasons for the Abyss Defiant (because I dont raid often). Hope next season doesn't have anything too nutty that makes me want to immediately craft it lol.

Or… you could just hold on, and use the harmonisers on something rare like the ikelos or austringer pattern
it's always cute when videos come out explaining things that have been common knowledge for ages like they're insider tips
also, you can just use the D2 app on your phone, there's literally a button to view previous season passes. It's not limited to just the last one, and you don't need to memorize some URL.
I was legit happy this week cause Xur finally proposed the Calus mini-tool for sell, so bought 5 and used my harmonizer to make my perfect Calus :D

Would it? There's zero reason to craft seasonal weapons right away. Deepsight harmonizers are better used on weapons than barely drop like previous seasonal or raid weapons

i did the same thing this season to craft the hollow denial from the presage mission
Already used them to get my Solar Trace Rifle from the 30th Anniversary and Forebearance from VOD raid worth it for me but noted for the future

This can easily be done from the bungie app.
On the app go to the bottom left “Director” click that then go to the top right into “Season”. Then top middle there’s a tab with the past season unclaimed rewards and you can go into and claim them that way.
Theres also a google extension that somehow makes all of the old season passes show up on the website, so you can claim old stuff that you forgot about. I forgot to claim my season of undying ornaments on my titan and it let me grab them last season
It’s also in the companion app now. At least for IOS not sure about android. It’s under season and then rank you get a banner saying “unclaimed seasonal items” or something

I have like 3 seasons full of harmonizers. Would be cool to just store them in your inventory like golf balls etc…

I'm from the future and this absolutely works. You can even access the previous season pass with the companion app. That's how I pulled deepsight harmonizers to craft my most wanted gun before the first week of Final shape was over

I think they should make deepsight harmonziers farmable but balanced. Like if u do a endgame activitys( gm’s or full runs master raids )u have 10% chance of getting it once per week on each characters
Deep sights do not allow you to turn normal weapons into craftables. They only allow you to deepsight weapons that would normally have a red border but don't drop with the border
I wouldn’t mind spending money on a lil five pack like how they have for the armor synthesis things
But there won't be a next season we're going into episodes, idk how it'll work with the pass, but hopefully its different.

Seasonal weapon red borders drop like candy. Harmonizers are better used on raid weapons
You can use 1 harmonizer per weapon you can't use 2 or 3 per weapon so if you miss one red border use 1 harmonizer still you need 4 red border weapons.
So we have access to other season passes we just can't level them anymore because they said so

some others are mentioning anther issue I agree with if we pay for a battle pass it’s paid for content that content shouldn’t leave for those of us that paid for it Paid battle passes should be permanent to the customers I’m fine 🙂 f the people that don’t buy it miss out after the season ends but if I log in and buy the battle pass I should be able to log in 3 years later and finish that same battle pass as it should be in my collection 👀 can we as a community push this? I think we should all push this idea so more game companies do it because it’s kinda shitty to pay for something just to not get it because you didn’t have the time
they're probably gonna keep them in the season passes as well since theyre so usefull and give us incentive to actually reach rank 100

word of advice, at the beginning of lightfall you could go back all the way to season of the undying (1st shadowkeep season) via the means of a certain browser extension bungie updated something that mucked up ALLL the data so we could then only get things from the beginning of the witch queen.
just please be careful when doing this.

@@oscarsflame2737 you can claim from the previous season in the companion app (or web browser) by going to "bungie rewards>season progress (at the bottom of the website)>and once the page loads up, "previous season".
with the way that i listed before, you would get a particular web browser and extension, then go to the seasonal progress webpage, and literally revert back to which season may have unclaimed gear. armor, weapons, engrams, ciphers, harmonizers, everything not claimed from earned progress.

Sure. Or you could just get the engrams and decode randomly for red bars. You can get 99 engrams in just a couple hours and that’ll be half the weapon patterns right there. There is no seasonal pattern I don’t have because of doing this and it works fairly early on into the season.
That's only if Bungie doesn't stop us from taking advantage of this .
there is literally no reason to limit these being available to the extent they do.
They should put harmonizers in master raids to finally give people a reason to farm them

I’ll be honest dude, I never get enough weapons that will allow me to use deep slate harmonizers enough for me to really care about them so they stay in my season pass log.
Cannot carry them over and can only hold one at a time it’s a bit ridiculous tbh I lost three last season as I was unable to log on and collect them. I was unable to use them as I had no weapons to use them on but silly I cannot apply all five to one weapon having to find five separate ones is so annoying.
Why would you use deep sights for any seasonal weapons?
