- This video demonstrates how to convert variables into Z scores in SPSS. Variables are converted into Z scores with the “Descriptives” function and then a method of creating a composite score is demonstrated.
A number of your SPSS vids have helped me immensely. Thank you very much.
Just what I need. Bless you Dr Grande 💙
This video help me in understanding that when data is converted into Z scores it's easier to interpret numbers. Taking the average for each dependent variable makes it easier to compare as well .
I also remember converting data into Z scores in my undergrad statistics class. Nice to see how it's done in SPSS.
Very useful and informative!
I remember learning how to convert data into Z scores during my undergrad, however, it was very interesting to learn how to convert to Z score using SPSS
Very helpful! Is it possible to average the composite scores, so you get an overall average score of all participants? How would that work if some of the composite scores are negatives?
Can you please explain how you interpret your composite scores? What is a high value and what does it indicate? Same with a low value?
Really helpful, thank you. :)
Do Z-scores imply a normal distribution? Or can u use this with any old distribution. Thanks.
Helo Sir, I'd like to ask you. in any condition that the data output of z value are above of the standard (-3 and 3) or (-3 and 2). so, what should I do ? should I remove the values ? or what ???
Thank you Sir.
