If you purchased the “CSC interactive” while purchasing the test or if you purchased as a package, you should see that when you click online learning button on the right of the portal or where you normally see “CSC” check if u purchased that too

You have to purchase it separately or as part of the exam package. Its called “CSC check” That being said it’s ok to not spend extra on it and there are plenty of other mock test resources available online that are free however they may not be fully up to date.
Hard copy book itself should be enough but you can also look for other resources online most of them available on youtube. I personally found the csc check practice exams very useful. You can try looking for free ones online
Its called "CSC video companion" and you need to purchase it separately from their website www.csi.ca/en/learning/courses/csc/study-tools it costs 95$ . For free alternatives, you can try doing a google search to see if you can find something similar material to canadian securities course video companion. the content might be outdated though. So you will have to check how outdated it is and if you are okay with that.

For canadian securities course, As long as the books are not too old, i think you should be fine; They update the material every year, so content differes a little but, most things, for example canadian regulations or historical stock prices or stock trading techniques, they remain the same; and I think its enough to pass the course. I would highly recommend the latest mock tests (CSC check) though but if you have finance background or feel comfortable with the material, I think it should be ok.

For csc you can take the course i don’t think there is any restriction of work permit. To work you need work permit. To study longer than 6 months in canada you need study permit. Csc is different.
Of course! You can book exam 1 and exam 2 on different dates. You will be able to do that in the portal. For Canadian Securities Course, you can also study volume 1 and do exam 1 first and then do 2. However both the exams must be done within 1 year of purchasing the course or it will expire and you will need to pay more to book exam or extend course
In my opinion the difficulty level of exam questions is the same for both volume 1 and 2. I personally did find volume 1 a bit more challenging as there was more theory and memorizing.
You can book it any day but both exams must be completed within the time allowed to complete the course which is 1 year i think when you buy the course
Does percentage matter? They said you need 60 percent to pass and didn’t mention about 80 percent for certificate anywhere. I cleared vol 1 in feb and writing vol 2 on first june. Got 62 marks thankfully on the first one. Did not know about the 80 percent thing.
Great job passing volume 1! 👏 Usually percentage doesn’t matter. But in your portal you can request a wall certificate if your score is more than 80% Its one of the options on the right under the access online course materials button
Just to add to the comment above, if you want to do it from outside Canada, you have to option to do exam online if you dont find a test centre near you.

It depends on your educational background and if you have a degree in finance or not. To be honest this course is more like a minimum requirement to be eligible to get an associate role with securities dealer or a bank but you will definitely need some sort of other experience to go with it.
If you bought the CSC video companion it should be available in your portal. Or you can donate quick google search if its available anywhere else online

No I don’t have any finance background but she just gave the test in December I guess. I am little nervous but let’s see thanks for your advice😊.

They are available all year round. Based on your test center. You can get a date as close as 1 week later too if the exam centre is not booked fully

First attempt is free and included in the exam cost. More attempts, you have to pay a fee to rebook the exam. You have 3 attempts allowed per exam
Is CSC similar to ACCA or CFA. I mean, can I pursue it from outside Canada ?
No they not same, yes you can pursue from anywhere
