Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to go travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling, and we didn’t want to stop after just one year! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries and then all 7 continents (check out our documentary here: • 100th COUNTRY DOCUMENTARY , we had no plans to slow down, until 2020 decided to force us to ;) which is when we bought a converted Sprinter van to start exploring our own country for the first time. It was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎

I think it speaks to Kara and Nate’s character that they could have however much food they wanted with a personal butler- but instead they don’t order a crazy amount of food, and eat it all. No excess food waste is always so nice to see!

The ending about happiness being shared is 100% spot on. I would feel that exact way. The lux life looks kind of stale and cold compared to what you showed at the end. The real joy is in the journey- not the comfort of the ultra luxurious. However, I'm glad you two got to experience this. As always filmed and edited beautifully.

FANTASTIC experience ! The seafood looked amazing. Actually EVERY THING looks amazing. Loved the different angles at dusk you did with the skyline and city cars.

Kara and Nata have socially distanced well and more people have died due to suicide and depression from lockdown than from Covid itself. We all need to have a fair approach to this and carry on with our lives and apply the safety measures that has been put in place👍 such times are never easy but we will get through this 😊

While it is impossible to "make" everyone stay at home, those who do not need to TRAVEL for essential purposes can choose to stay home (ie to not travel). We will get through this if everyone does their part. This channel's creators are certainly not part of those who "need" to TRAVEL for work/in order to put food on the table. They have other businesses they can run from home or online, and we've all seen the financial data they share with us.
Ever wondered how many of those deaths by suicide were due to people being unable to cope with the isolation brought about by the pandemic? By a depression caused by the deaths of their relatives, who they haven't been able to see one last time because hospital visits were forbidden? How about those elderly people in long term care facilities who decided to let themselves die because they could not bear the thought of not seeing their loved ones for so long, since visits are forbidden in those facilities? Others who asked the staff to KILL them because they could not endure the loneliness any longer? (I have witnessed it - Of course the staff wouldn't do it. It just shows how isolated and desperate people are). While those deaths were not caused by the virus itself, the restrictions put in place because of the pandemic caused these people to become isolated enough to believe they only had one way out.
This isn't only about "well, people die from other stuff too". Of course they do. Healthcare workers in many parts of the world are exhausted, overworked. They had to cancel their holidays last summer, during the 2020 holiday season, and they will have to cancel their summer holidays again this year if this continues. Millions of people around the world may not have died from the virus, but even if they "recovered" they now have to deal with serious health issues for the rest of their lives. Imagine the cost of that for our society. People who are now unable to work, who are now ill/disabled, who will need to be cared for for the rest of their lives. Think of their families. Others will be lucky if they get to see their loved ones again before they die, people will die because their surgeries have been cancelled since hospitals are overwhelmed, and they won't make it until the new date, many people now have serious mental health issues because of the isolation, only worsening an already existing mental health crisis in some countries, especially the US, countless people have lost their jobs, businesses close every day... I could keep going until next week... All of this would be over if it wasn't for people who keep travelling and doing other non essential stuff as if the pandemic was not a thing. It's not only about numbers in the "Death" column in hospital charts. The consequences of this pandemic are much, much more serious than that.
@@martinc.720 understand everything you say and don't disagree with you. But as we have all seen, it's not so simple as the hospitality industry has taken a huge hit with many jobs lost in hotels, resorts and restaurants. Such places need these travelers so that they can keep staff employed and have them put food on their table and support their families.
I just personally think every scenario has a pro and con and in such times, it's difficult to establish what the pro's and con's are as they are different for every scenario.
I also dont think it's fair to hold Kara and Nate's income statement against them as their whole business model is to show people that you can make money traveling. That was their motto from the beginning.

At a tender age of my life, I had a dream of living in such a penthouse like this but I do not know if this can still be possible now considering my age. However, I do not give yet and I will appreciate your suggestion on how dreams can come through . This video inspires me and truly makes my day.

Very difficult times indeed, here in the UK we are in lockdown again. Means no unnecessary shopping, no seeing family, no outdoor time unless exercise or work purposes and certainly no travelling
