Lifting up the wheel in the front of the tiller would have made your tilling job easier as it would have allowed the tines to dig deeper into the ground. The position it was in, is the transporting position.

Thanks for all the laughs!! It’s so much fun and motivating to see you do all this!. We build our above ground pool (intex) last year, and did a bit more digging as we have it half above ground. Having a pool is not quite common in the Netherlands, so we get a lot of surprised visitors :D Looking forward to see what you do to finish it!

I just tackled this project with my dad last summer. It was exhausting and challenging but the humid Michigan days make it worth it!

Omg! We had to do all the things just like you all did, but I'm sorry to say.....to get it completely long lasting level, u have to figure the weight of water when leveling( in which we never knew til after the fact)! Believe me, we ran into this problem, but we got 8 good years out of a pool like yours! They are wonderful! Every year, there was a different spot around the pool that wasn't completely level! Lol. Happy swimmimg!! 😁

AmOh how I’ve missed my pool. Last year we upgraded to the big pool Bob Graham had the smaller ones it was awesome. But I add some tips and tricks I wish I could’ve shared with you first

Friendly reminder to folks planning on tilling or digging - take a moment and call 811. All the locations of utilities and cables will be flagged. Some of them are inches below the ground surface. It may avoid problems and it's the law. 😊

It is so hard to get the ground ready, but definitely worth it. One thing I didn't know (the first year we had one) is that you can winterize the pool and keep it up all winter so you never have to prepare the ground again. We did that last year and it was awesome. Absolutely no work to set it up this year.

I've done my share of digging, so I get it.
But my heart just about stopped when you said you'd found a snake. In Australia, you don't play with snakes and if you find a baby snake in your yard you'll find more including mummy snake.
