I have learned this funeral prayer, as we are a small muslim community far away in the countryside. I am also going to learn the rest of the rites like gusul (washing of deseased) and sermon after burial.

PrAnG2000 I'm so happy that you got a chance to experience what it is like at a Muslim funeral service sadly we are not allowed to attend the funeral service of a non-muslim this is because of associating partners with Almighty god Allah the only one worthy of worship without no partners

Alhamdulliah I was able to pray the janazah prayer on the day of my uncles funeral. It was my first time and it gave me immense satisfaction to be able to take part and make dua for the deceased and the ummah

It is said that at the end of the prayer Imam gives salam ( assalaumu Alaikum Wa rahmathulla) ONLY to the RIGHT Side ( Not to both sides) Kindly clarify

Very Informative! but I am a bit confused because there is so many variation. Some people only raise their hands after the first takbeer and not after 2nd,3rd & 4th. Some after the first takbeer read only Sana without surah fatiha. And after the 4th takbeer recites nothing but tasleem.
Can someone please correct me. What is the minimum correct way of suni prayer.

navidsafi as far as the teachers it is not permissible to do so lonely for the deceased person who is in front of the imam some special circumstances set aside for when a person's body cannot be recovered the best thing to do for these Muslim brothers and sisters who are dying needlessly is to make dua for them after the prayer this can be done 5 times a day Insha'Allah

There are differences in opinions. We would recommend discussing this with your local Islamic Centre or Masjid.
Does taslim should be in both sides or one side (right side only) ? because I saw muslems in Saudi Arabia perform funeral prayer with one side taslim at the end .
Can I pray for non Muslim brother or sister, parents if am only Muslim in family
Allah knows best and it is recommended you speak to an Imam regarding this. However, it is beneficial to continuously make dua and ask Allah to guide those who are close to you.
why some videos about janazah say you only raise hands on the first takbeer
