I was approached in Columbus ohio about some personal belongings in a unit. Well I located them and told the manager to share my number so I could get the stuff back to the lady. That night her sons called me with death threats demanding I return the entire unit back to them within 3 days hahahaha. Blocked them. First and last time I ever try to be nice to previous owners

I appreciate that Lannie. Some of these people are just irresponsible but this guy was just having a tuff time. They would not have been able to sleep knowing the guy lost everything over being an hour late to make payment and I could have done something about it. Like I said, I wasn't plan on buying a unit, it was just cheap, maybe it was a Devine encounter.

Sarah my wife will tell ya at the end of every single day that is my goal, and that I'm purposeful in it. I remember who I was and where I was before he saved me....
I had something similar happen to me. I was living with my friend at his families home he was NATIONAL guard. But didn't have any of his mil stuff there and i had to move some of my stuff from AD in his storage unit. And he defaulted and hadn't told me. I had to goto the storage unit place and ask when they did sales. The manager was mad at me but I went and watched with who. Ever was buying it. And asked them afterwards. If I might be able to get my stuff. They were really nice guys they got to keep everything in that unit. I just needed my stuff back that had my paperwork and uniforms in. So as a veteran thank you guys for doing what yall did for this man too. Means a lot in the world to know and see people still care about veterans.

Hey Justin I’m actually looking to become a reseller and start bidding on units up in the New England area but is there any advice or quick tips you could give to someone just starting out in this kind of business?
Be cautious, lots of staged or gone through units. Look at every detail in the unit, are all the boxes untaped , what kind of clothes or items do they buy? Expensive or cheap? How did they treat their furniture? Are the legs beat up? Cause they treat the rest of their stuff like they do the furniture.
Look at every small detail before you pull the trigger, you should never loose money on a unit if your smart and patient. This is like fishing... and again beware of scam units... tons of properties are in on it and up to regional level that I know personally about.
Oh... and have a way to sell.... anyone literal monkey can bid on a unit... but then what you going to do with it? Checkout my auction site... we normally have everything from units sold within 10 days and money in bank. We have streamlined our system and reduced our overhead to just our home.
You can make a very comfortable living and have more freedom. We only have to leave the house to pick units up. Everything else is set for delivery or pickup. We don't even waist time with trash anymore, factor that into bidding, find a trash person or a thrift store who will come get your leftovers for cheap. Pay them something it's worth it to have reliable person. You will save days in time and time is money but only if you're selling.

i love seeing other people help vets out especially when they fell on hard times as a vet myself i know what its like to lose things that mean so much to you. extenuating circumstances happen in the military. just nice to see people who care and willing to do the right thing for those who served

Yes definitely something strange about mason units. I found. 32ns degree with all his books and gold medals. And amen... there is but only one name one may be saved and reconciled to our creator.

These moments don't come up often so when they do we feel call to do so. And this industry has made us a ton of money, least we could do. But again... I wouldn't be mad at ya.
