Tech doesn't just rap fast, he has a cadence, he's precise, clear, and understandable, and has a large library of words he uses.

Which is why he is one of the absolute best. One of the reasons i can't get into rap today, too much of it doesn't have clarity, or it's not precise, not understandable, no enunciation. That and more than half the songs out today are quite idiotic, spending most if the time just rapping about pussy, money ect.

You seem more humble than I remember man. NF has always just done his thing. He never set out to be a lyrical, bar heavy rapper. He just made his songs. Overcoming depression is relatable to a lot of people.
Legends like Hopsin and Techn9ne are lyrical and bar heavy (you already know). I was worried about NF rapping with them because he doesn't try to be bar heavy. This mixtape I think is going to widen NF's variety and his songs. But he will likely continue the story line of his albums next, before we see more of this.

It's so funny how some people think artist are repetitive in their music..so when the artists branch out to different genres people start complaining that they want the "old stuff" but when they had the "old stuff" it was too repetitive and similar. He knows what he's good at and that people love him for HIS style of rapping so he should stick to that, however I think he can do it all.

Depressing has to do with what he is saying and the content/context displayed. Just because you like something or it's more up beat doesn't mean it's not depressing. There's heavy metal and pop songs that are upbeat but dark and depressing. You're supposed to listen to what people say not how they say it.

Tech is the GOAT because he chops with clear cadence and pronunciation that is just not matched. You hit direct when you said that you understand every word. You may have to hear the verse a few times to hear all the words because he went quickly but you can hear them. I heard one Tech song and then was downloading albums.
This is for anyone new who may want to take the NF journey as we call it because he intertwines his music like marvel movies.
All four albums is like a connected series. For instance in his when i grow up song, paid my dues, leave me alone, and why song, the black smile is the fake smile that he mentions in therapy session song.
He hides eggs in his videos. In when i grow up song there was two hidden eggs in that song. A real choppa flow always reminds me of jet skis: its real choppy as it starts to speed up until you get on top of the water and then it's skipping across the top. Same with a beat... that real staccato chop hits on the intro until the artist gets in top of the beat, and then it's gone.

Tech is the cadence King. Always has been. Tech creates his own pockets in a beat. Tech has been my go to since Everready dropped. Every song, every feature, every album. Who else makes Twista nervous? Lol.
