Haha thanks! The person doing the treardown is the same person doing everything lol. Me 😄
@@RestoreTechnique 😂😂😂😂
I’m really impressed by two things actually with this video. The first one is how well you implemented this teardown video, no annoying talking, great camera work with nice, clean, close up shots. No any distracting things on the video.
The second one is definitely the extremely well hardware architecture that Apple now has on those new devices.
Can you send it to me unfortunately I can't buy it

@@jaketaylor9961 thanks hhhhhhhhh🤣
It's the beautiful internal architecture of this iPhone that blew me away. Extremely well laid out specifics and tight integration of modules. Great video man. Appreciate the hard work and precision teardown of this iPhone. ❤️

Technology in this phone is wild. Such small pieces, everything fits just fine.
*Greetz from Poland.*
Wow.
I think it's the fastest and most polite dismantling video.
It's great and quick to assemble too. Thank you for your precious video.
The reassembly at the end is the most impressive part, tbh. Great job!
Thanks dude ✌️
This is the most professional phone repair I’ve ever seen!
We should be the ones thanking you because of you we can see the parts perfectly. so thanks for everything. Awesome😊
No worries 😀
Must be nice having a SIM Slot. Here in the USA, we don't have that luxury 😂.
Great video!
Thanks! Yeah I wonder how iP14 sold in America, possibly a few more customers getting port models, or sticking with their old iPhone.
very satisfied way to learn how to disassembly and reassembly something. i've just found out a great channel like this. Truely satisfied. thanks Restore Technique Channel
I can't imagine how fun to open this thing 😍
It is fun, except I was rushing cause I wanted to get it out before other bigger channels, to have an advantage.
@@RestoreTechnique Don't worry bro, I really enjoyed your video. If anyone finds your video enjoyable they will always come to your channel. It doesn't matter even if you upload late.
@@RestoreTechnique PBK (86k subs) released the 14 Pro Max video this morning and now great to see the iPhone 14 Pro teardown.
@@darthraider450 Cheers, yeah I saw he released his a day before mine, not sure how he got his hands on it early. Glad he did the Pro Max, and REWA did the 14.

So satisfying watching you tear it down. The camera work is 🔥
Some great piece of art here. Very neat and unique technology put together to have an awesome product. Big up Apple 👏🏾
Production quality on this video is amazing. Also the person doing the teardown really knows what they’re doing. 10/10 professionalism and enjoyment
Thanks heaps dude ☺️
(it's a one-man-show btw)
Straight to the point no talking just getting to the work done.
This is the best way to teardown without damaging a single part. Nice video. Keep it up bro.
Thanks man 👍
This was nice to see the internals! Nice ASMR! :)
Wow!!! I was more impressed by how you put it back piece by piece without missing a thing ! Amazing extraordinary video.
So much work to assemble a new series of iPhone, it’s amazing how much work you can put into technology.
Just to still be the same as the models before
You can observe the beauty of engineering over this great work!
Great camera work. Great angles. No idiotic talking over the entire thing like a lot of other channels do. Love it!
Happy Dear
You're funny. I enjoyed your subtle sense of humor. Video tutorial was professional, no nonsense and to the point. Got a 👍from me.
Thanks so much mate 😀
Thanks for videos, I respect the idea of putting everything together and reassembling the unit, some people just destroy everything after opening the devices ( scratch test my ass), thank you man!
Pretty cool. Way too stressful to do it myself but you have satisfied my curiosity, thank you.
No worries 👍
They (Apple, magazines) said it is much more difficult to open an iPhone 14 than the previous ones. I couldn't see any noteworthy difference.
Yes, an actual 14, rather than the 14 pro. The 14 opens from the back, its a complete redesign
just for the normal iPhone 14. not for Pros
@Peter This was the same as the iPhone 13. In that teardown I had a big struggle trying to get the screen up. This new tool I have makes it much easier.
@@czLochy yeah and that's a terrible change. Replacing the back is completely irrelevant. But replacing a broken screen is. And with Apples design it always much easier to do that (unlike most Android phones). And now Apple is partly doing the same.
Especially with the iPhone 14 models it seems like there are more and more parts of the development being like "influenced" by Android manufacturers.
1. opens from the back
2. not all rear cameras with the same resolution
3. doing nonsense like "f/1.78" so that the aperture looks larger than it is. It's a f/1.8...
@Peter That's fair enough Peter, you may be right. It looked the same to me, but I haven't measured it on an accurate scale. I've definitely seen the iP13 before and thought there was a tiny bit of screen above the lip, I almost feel like it's dependant on the unit you get, slight variations.
Regardless, wish I had this contraption last year 😄
i love how there is no background sound, peak ASMR!
Why do I find this video fascinating? (I definitely watch too many cell phone tear down.)
Pulling the battery tabs will always be the equivalent of nails on a chalkboard for me lol😅
Extremely well laid out specifics and tight integration of modules. Great video man. now give it to me 😁😁
Thanks 😊
@@RestoreTechnique 🖤🖤
Battery pull tabs scene sounds awesome ASMR!
😄👌
I like this disassembly, clean shot with original soundtrack.
Cheers dude 😊
Well done 😮, I think they make it easier or am wrong? Or the guy is professional 😅❤ so much components are there wow so compact 👌🏻
100 yrs from now tech companies will look at this video's and think how backwards was 2022 😂 still great video
Cheers 😄
@@RestoreTechnique good work 💯 appreciated
iPhone 114.
I just can't believe that you did this. Oh my god I was nervous the whole time, if I had had one of these iPhones, I wouldn't have done such a thing. Good god!!
A fantastic piece of engineering! Almost makes me want to tear mine down just to marvel at it....but I won't.
the biggest show to me was battery form and scapacity like 3200 for an iphone seems really good
this is so scary to remove the screen without hurting any parts of the phone, but your methods are too gentle and satisfying great job
Thanks 😀
Thanks for making us discovering this device
No worries 👍
Everything feels solid when laid down!
Таких мало кто до последней детали может разобрать аппарат а за тем собрать обратно и не повредить что либо . Респект👍👍👍💪💪💪
Thanks 😊
I am an Android fan and am not one of those that hate Apple, but I am always impressed by Apple's hardware architecture.
Yeah same!
I didn't expected to be assembled back 😳😳😳
Really appreciate you making the video 🙌🙌
Cheers
Nice teardown video
You got your sub!
The most eye soothing teardown i hv ever watched

I love repairing videos more than teardown
Ok thanks for the feedback 🙂
The battery pull tabs are quite satisfying
🤤
Well done. You did an amazing job tearing down the iPhone. You sure know how to disassemble. Apple is making it more challenging to repair it's phones as each year passes by.
very clean teardown videos, but the big question what do you make of the phones that you open? do you return them or resell them as used?
Resell. Can't return them, ethically at least.
Classic n detail with more realistic views
Perfect videos thank you so much
Thanks for sharing, this video was shared in great detail.
와!! 아이폰14 분해쇼 잘 보고 감니다. ^^
Awesome!! I didn’t know the Australian model of the phone still shipped with a physical SIM tray. Curious to see the hardware differences between this model and the U.S. model, which exclusively uses eSIM now.
EVERY iPhone 14 outside the US ships with a SIM slot.
And besides that there aren't any differences. You US guys just don't have a SIM slot - no benefits.
That will only change once all models get eSIM because Apple will not make two different internal designs just for one market
Buy sim tray better than esim
No mmWave antena? What does this means?
I appreciate the full-length battery pull tab sounds. 😚
Ahh cool, was thinking I should've sped it up
So clean and satisfying....😍
Very relaxing to watch 😌
Thanks !
Cool 😀
Until the battery part
Thanks for showing what it looks like from the inside. After such disassembly does the phone become less waterproof or loses some of it’s other characteristics (except for the warranty)?
Not really, as long as it is reassembled correctly. During reassembly, you have to reinstall the Water and Dust resistant seal he removed around the edges.
@@aaronpena5879 Yeah but I don’t think most thirds parties reparations make the job correctly
This is my main question too. The screen is glued for a reason
Nice. Thanks a lot actually. It worked, you explained it well.
There are really brilliant people (engineers) on this planet. Incredible
I am pretty brilliant aren't I. Thanks!
Good job 👏 👍 keep it up the good work
Thanks 😀

Thank you very much you saved my life and my Apple Supply Chain project LOL
Nice job bro ❤️ you're my role model 🤭
Haha nice ☺️
This really makes me appreciate the engineering excellence that goes into building a modern phone from Apple.
Which is the same every year 😂
@@karimmohamed710 Agreed. Engineering Excellence :D
Engineering excellence goes perfectly with Z Fold 4
@@TanveerAhmed-dk3rp 🤣😂, oleds are already foldable by nature, this fact has been known since they were born, so over 20 years ago, you have continuously seen it in screens with strange shapes such as the various curved screens for PCs or the old Samsung, etc,etc... The only thing they did is put a hinge on them and fold up to the point of avoiding breaking (no need to spend 1€ on research) When you open them they are the usual jumble (nothing comparable compared to the assembly of iPhones, which are almost more beautiful when disassembled than when assembled, every single parte taken is maniacal care, ....(there is nothing that comes close in Android world, much higher quality for Apple device, not by pure chance Apple is the largest company in the World, they are so big that if they wanted, they could even buy Samsung, to make you understand the abysmal gap between the two companies, therefore the anomaly in this case would have been to see an Apple product of worse quality than an Android, certainly not the other way around, with all the liquidity they invest every year...) for the same reason they are the most reliable, having a problem on an iPhone is equivalent to winning the lottery (but in reverse of course 🙃) Samsung just on the marketing side overperform...(where by the way Apple has never invested, also because it would be equivalent to falling below the position they maintain, a bit like when it comes to politics, whoever commands dictates the rules, whoever chases makes propaganda...)
@@glaxb17 blah blah Samsung is more innovative and I know your saying this because you are blind fan boy paid by apple and I am not replying for cow paragraph as I know who is best and I never ever Apple is more innovation.
Samsung 1000%
Interesting insides of the phone. I work for an AASP so I know the ins and outs of taking apart and fixing computers, phones etc and certified on them actually. Nice video editing btw
Thanks mate! 🙂
Your work is so satisfying
When we look at the price of the Blue Chanel perfume, a simple liquid which costs 1300$ for one liter (130$ for 100ml), and look at this incredible technology and high integrated components in an amazing architecture which is a result of tens years of R&D and industry, I can say : iPhone is not expensive !!!

0:47 was a flex on us Americans (all US iPhone 14 models are eSIM only, therefore no physical sim tray)
Haha, unintentional flex 💪
I think thats the total opposite 💀
Flex? Soon all countries will support esim. It’s just a move in a different direction is all. Zero flex here.
You can go to 90 to heat the display. Makes it much easier to remove. Great video
I usually go lower than 80°, I'm worried about the heat impacting the battery and degrading performance.
OLED can degrade too...
80°C is perfect.
@@ThermalWorld_ Yes OLED degrades, from use due to the pixels being switched on. However a single application of heat will do it ZERO harm
@@Petermcc94If 90 ° C is exceeded, the OLED displays burn out, showing only green color. I repair phones so I know something 😅
@@ThermalWorld_ I've even repairing phones since 2011 including OLEDS since Samsung S4 🥳

I don't want to have to split the two main boards apart. PGA is annoying but much easier than this!
It is anoying true, but i have same opinion as Louis Rossmann:
Make device as complicated as you want but make parts for it available. Unfortunately no parts untill they will be forced by law.
@@pomi6278 I agree with you as well as Louis.
I think they try to make it repairable by "everyone" (Fairphone / Apple Repair Kits) but nobody requested that.
It has a sim tray? This is wild! 😱
All models outside the USA i believe. Can't believe they took it away tbh
Brace yourselves. The charging port is next!
engineering at it peak it amazed us
what camera setup do you use? The min focusing distance is pretty short so it makes this kind of film work easy. Is it a gopro or a phone?
It's quite sad that Apple didn't made the FaceID arrangement work on the 13 already.
The FaceID module and front camera are physically identical. They're simply slightly different arranged and that's why it takes up "more" space on the 13 (Pro).
Good afternoon, I need to receive information. Unfortunately, following a breakdown, I would need to replace the power button of my iPhone 14 Pro. However, I would like to know if it is necessary to replace the entire NFC module, or to buy only the "flex" containing the volume and power buttons. In particular, I can't understand if by replacing only this last component it is necessary to carry out micro-welding on the NFC antenna. Thanks in advance
The side buttons are on the same flex as the wireless charging antenna, so unless you can do micro soldering (or find a repair shop that can do it) then you will need to replace the whole flex assembly.
Various suppliers offer this part, including iFixIt for USD$59

Phone is so beautiful outside Inside ♥️❤️♥️❤️
Do you know if the back comes out like the iPhone 14 regular
Excellent tear down very clear hd video
Amazing teardown
My My OCD can't think about anything other than being able to put it back together😅
This is “INSANE” and I thought solving Differential Equations was challenging. This dude was intent on a high quality video to the last detail. He covered everything even down to getting his nails and fingers manicured. LOL 😝
It is very useful video love you bro ❤
I have a 14 pro with a serious problem where it’s rebooting randomly after a screen replacement. Does the proximity sensor cause any problems for the phone if it remains unplugged while the screen is installed, or is the phone damaged beyond just the front screen? It’s my phone and I tried to get it fixed myself, and when I plug the screen and proximity sensor back in the phone overheats instantly and becomes too hot to even touch. I leave the proximity sensor unplugged and it functions normally except for when it reboots every 2-10 minutes
This dude sounds like I Did a Thing if he was a tech nerd. Super cool!
Also can you try to make this one into USB-C like you did for the 13?
Worth watching and worth buying.
Cheers 🙂
