I didn’t know Bell Hooks had a book about love! I’ve read some of her essays and speeches in women’s studies classes and she’s the real deal. Poignant, assertive, WAY ahead of her time. I’ll have to add that to my TBR too!

Admittedly it has been a long time since I've been in the mood to read a thriller, but I read Listen for the Lie in two sittings yesterday. It wasn't my favorite book of all time, but I flew through it and had a good time. And it was compelling enough to keep me interested to finish it in one day.
I did the same binge with Finlay Donovan. I had the 3rd one for quite a while and just read it recently. I read the #3.5 novella over the weekend and am all set to read #4.
I just read Take me with you by Nina G Jones and I also finished it in one sitting and couldn't put it down. It's super dark and not your typical dark romance lol but I would highly recommend it. Gave it 5 stars
