This ship is a beast!! Almost 20 years ago now, I was about 10 years old, we ended up in a tropical storm in the middle of the night on the way to Belize from Mexico on the Carnival Glory. We went through 6m/20ft swells and it was quite sickening, we didn’t end up making it as far as Belize. Even though it was scary, I don’t remember the fear being prominent, I remember more feeling safe and cozy, eating calzones and laughing with my mom. The staff that were awake did did not even seem phased by the high seas adventure, which was a comfort in itself. It really is a glorious ship. Would be cool to board it again now, but this tour is the next best thing. It’s really nice to see her doing well all these years later.🛳️🌊♥️

Carnival Glory was the FIRST ever cruise ship I’ve been on back in 2015. Mannn the memories ❤️😩. I’ll forever have fond memories of this ship. Idc how big and better the newer ships are
My very first cruise was at Glory on 2018. A week ago December 2022 I took the Mardi Gras and even the ship is beautiful I like the Glory better. Glory is more elegant. Definitely Glory will be my next one ❤

The Glory will be my 4th cruise, I've been on Fantasy, Freedom and Vista. So far the Freedom has been my favorite, I'm looking forward to setting sail on the Glory, she looks beautiful!
You caught a tiny glimpse of my favorite thing about the Glory: The aft pool bartender Komang :) We love that guy! She's a great ship. Conquest class have the best layout of the fleet, IMO. As they've gotten bigger, they're losing the charm of being on a ship and becoming big boxes to stuff people in, asking too much of their crew.
Komang is the BEST! He had our drinks ready every night when we grabbed some late night pizza! He will have a small cameo in our Sailabration music video co.i g out soon... thanks for watching!

I left on the Glory in 2019 from New Orleans. It's a long ride down the Mississippi River. It was 7 hours before the ship finally reached the blue ocean.
Just had my first cruise on Glory for my birthday loved it shes a beautiful ship. and had so much fun !!! The crew everyone is awesome trust me 7 days is not enough to take in all the fun this ship. I hope to sail on Glory again soon .

After cruising Panorama and the new Celebration, I came to the realization that bigger doesn't always mean better. I prefer the Conquest Class Ships to the Dream Class Ships. With that being said, the Dream Class is my all time favorite. The vessels of these two Classes are big enough with open spaces throughout (uncluttered and uncrowded). They have everything I need, especially the cruise vibes, which I did not feel when cruising Panorama and Celebration.😀

@@thecruiseworld Thank you and we are sailing twice this year our first coming Oct 14th for the first time on Celebrity Equinox A1 Aqua Class cabin for a 8 day to the southern Caribbean ABC islands of Aruba, Bonaire and Curroco. Our second one is December 30th on Oceania Vista again our first time sailing with them in a PH1 suite on a 10 night Caribbean as well. Our 30th wedding anniversary is October 23rd so we booked the Celebrity cruise and i'm surprising my wife with the second cruise for both a additional anniversary gift and early Christmas present. In the past before this year's cruises we sailed on Norwegian Windword (1993) Carnival Glory ( 2003) and most recently Norwegian Escape in 2017. It's been 6 yrs since i have been able to travel because of my two TBI's suffered from falls back in 2018 and 2020. Now healthy enough we can travel again to celebrate a milestone anniversary this year. Thanks again for the memories of Carnival Glory. :)
Sailed on the Glory in 2019 and sailing on her again this September. Was hoping they added the Red Frog Pub during its wet dock like planned… bummer. Valor has it. Was looking forward to the Glory getting it.
But they do have a Red Frog Rum Bar. Out by the pool. I bet you are talking about the larger version that they have on some of the ships though. I’m sailing on the Glory in September as well.

For those who have never been on this cruise ship before, you are in for a treat. Me and my family sailed this ship Thanksgiving Week (2021). The party don't start when the ship takes off, the party starts when you put your 2 feet on that ship. Ain't nobody thinking about waving to any one good-bye when the ship takes off, this is not the LOVE BOAT. We are to busy getting our drink and dance on. If you don't like to party, this ain't your cup of tea. Find you some other ship to get on. Yeah I said, and before I take it back, I will add to it. I love that carnival still offers steam an sauna at no extra charge. I sail NCL an had to pay for those services.

This ship is almost identical to Paradise that sails out of Tampa. I have been on Paradise many times taking my first on Glory next month.
Basically same layout as the Liberty with a few differences. Next June will be my first trip of many to come with her

It's been 6 yrs since i have been able to travel because of my two TBI's suffered from falls back in 2018 and 2020. Now healthy enough we can travel again to celebrate a milestone anniversary this year.

Sailed on the Glory in 2019 and sailing on her again this September. Was hoping they added the Red Frog Pub during its wet dock like planned… bummer. Valor has it. Was looking forward to the Glory getting it.

But they do have a Red Frog Rum Bar. Out by the pool. I bet you are talking about the larger version that they have on some of the ships though. I’m sailing on the Glory in September as well.

I much prefer these loungy kind of theaters to the movie theater looking ones on the newer ships.
There is a certain charm to these ships…
@@thecruiseworld Absolutely. It seems like they're trying to pack more people onto these ships at the expense of that charn. I've taken note of this and will seek out older ships for my next cruises.

For those who have never been on this cruise ship before, you are in for a treat. Me and my family sailed this ship Thanksgiving Week (2021). The party don't start when the ship takes off, the party starts when you put your 2 feet on that ship. Ain't nobody thinking about waving to any one good-bye when the ship takes off, this is not the LOVE BOAT. We are to busy getting our drink and dance on. If you don't like to party, this ain't your cup of tea. Find you some other ship to get on. Yeah I said, and before I take it back, I will add to it. Sailed on Glory in 2005. 7 wonderful days and good memories except some of the crew were a bit rude.
Sorry to hear about the rude staff... I usually have great experiences with them! But glad you made a lot of great memories, and hope you cruise again soon!
This is a great tour, but I feel like I noticed lots of things a 17 year old can’t do lol. I’ll try to make the best out of it and have fun though. I board a 7 day cruise tomorrow.

We love cruising! We have been on 7 cruises since the restart, and have dealt with different restrictions and policies... but we have thoroughly enjoyed every one of them!

You don’t need a travel agent, but they do offer experience and knowledge that can be helpful.
