Here are performance excerpts from the original London cast of Phantom of The Opera borrowed from the ABC special 20/20. This broadcast just prior to PTO's Broadway opening in 1988. Also shown is some Broadway rehearsal footage. I have tried to include only music and performance but unfortunately could not remove all of the narration.

The musical was written for her, idiot. She is an amazing singer and actually looks like the character in Leroux's Phantom.
