Selected bunkai are also shown lead by 7th Dan Shihan, Jason Armstrong and other sensei supporting style variants and bunkai.
The full 1 hour video and Unshu (Unsu) webpage is at: sites.google.c...
Unshu classical bunkai is compared to street fighting emergency department & police statistics. An evidenced-based analysis (driven by data) allows one to create at least the following 4 categories of violence which may be relevant to karate-ka.
    1. Male-on-male violence
    2. Law enforcement (buncer/police) - which has different psychological considerations and physical relaities
    3. Female domestic violence
    4. Female violence derived related to a stranger attack
The aim is not to get away from classical karate, but given data is now available, to find the overlap of techniques which are both classical and practical based on statistics. The concept is represented in the below overlap diagram and is reviewed in detail in the book “Street Fighting Statistics & Medical Outcomes linked to Karate & Bunkai Selection”.

Master Funakoshi was in Okinawa for 17 years after the introduction of the Pinan katas. He helped in introducing them in the elementary schools. He did not learn them in Japan from Master Mabuni who was his junior by 20 years both in age and in karate. They are pictured in Master Funakoshi's 1926 book Rykyu Kenpo:Karate. Mabuni Sensei did not come to Japan until at least two years after its publication. Masatoshi Nakayama did create the current Unsu based on instruction from Master Mabuni in 1949. Hironori Ohtsuka did receive advice from Mabuni on certain kata--Naunly naihanchi and Bassai and Kushanku. But though friends and compatriots, Master Funakoshi was never a student of Mabuni.

there is also a high chance of master funakoshi knowing them from the time they were called channan, before the introduction of school karate in okinawa, as for unsu now there are videos of isao obata students doing it from the time they were added by gigo funakoshi and masatoshi nakayama still with the ipon nukite instead of the shutos

Ridiculous hip rotation, way too telegraphic. You'd get hit twice in the time it takes.
