the version with the 60 hp engine has a longer final drive then the stronger one. this is why it has a high top speed. there is no significant difference in acceleration between the two engines cause the two torues are the same. So the 60 hp version's got almost the same acceleration with higher top speed and a lower fuel usage. i was an a test drive with this model last day. it's got a surprisingly large passanger cell (rear seats two with my 185 cm)

Well, in the fiat made palio series, where engine 1.2 had 60HP (now the very same engine is in new panda), and I can easily make 165Km/h on 1040kg+105kg(driver, damn I'm big) + 5kg of tools = 1150 kg But the car itself is a fresh idea.
the guy who was with me on the drive said they measured a fuel consumption with a 3.5 liters in city usage with AC on and with test drivers on the deck. WTF??? so, i've got a Toyota Aygo for sale!
8L Consumption at 180km/h in 5th is almost too good ... In a Polo 1.4 you have 13L consumption. My Lupo 1.4 60hp only reaches 170km/h on straight and also comsumes over 10L when permanently driving full throttle ... Either this is downhill or the engine is really really good.

Hahaha, zasmáli se zbrojnoši a pochcali si brnění. Skutečná spotřeba v tý chvíli, kdy je tam při zrychlování 140 je tak kolem 16-20l/100km. Až když přestaneš zrychlovat a pouze na tý rychlosti budeš udržovat, pak klesne. Jinak HTP by ti ve 140 nejradši vyskočil z pod kapoty a dal ti pár facek :-)
+m80tmm this *is* how you run an engine in properly. Don't baby/grandma it - get in, warm it up then rag it hard using all RPM range and loads. If you drive it gently, the scoring on the bores is worn off by the piston rings without the rings having bedded in. Once the scoring is gone, the rings have nothing to bed against. This results in more blowby, lower output and less longevity. Ragging it hard beds the new rings against the new bore scoring, making them seal completely forever.
