You can possibly replace Narberal [Unit in Slot 1] With someone else. She's the only unit I had with 2 5* Supp slots, and being MLB. Plus not to mention the 200% art DMG her TA provides.
Gray you can definitely replace with anyone. But make sure you replace him with someone that'll give art to the team. He's just here to make the run faster.
Rin you can possibly replace here too with someone else, which all I can think of who is SGLiza. Rin Super Art (Increases all allies' Magic DMG by 150% & reduces enemy's Magic resistance by 100% for 40s.) So keep that in mind trying to find the right unit.
THINGS THAT LEAD TO FAILURES:
If Shalltear doesn't activate her SA on stage 1 & 2 you'll have to restart the mission
If Rin doesn't have enough for her SA before you're on the last stage, restart (But only if you're using AI) You're practically at the mercy of the BE dispersion, but it's rare for her to not have her SA by then.
