My wife and I danced to this tonight. It’s her favorite song. We first danced in 1960 at her 8th grade graduation. We later dated through high school and dancing was our favorite pastime. We have been married 54 years in May. But the lyrics reminded me so much of that beautiful sweet 16 in her beautiful gold A shaped dress and her hair in a Beehive. Just learned to play this acoustic and will be surprising my amazing beautiful perfect lady this summer at my parents anniversary party by coming out to the fire playing this for her and as it ends I will be on one knee holding her grandmothers ring that her father gave me recently when I asked for his blessing. I nearly got caught for commuting sucide and I was about to jump when my friends and fam came...they were crying their eyes out. I was really weak and I accediently let go. There was a bounce pad thing that the fire fighters had and luckily I landed on that. I’m so happy that they saved my life and I will NEVER attempt it again. Thanks for the comment, I really needed it. You should get more live ✨💖
