This is an incredible representation of the cleanliness of an actually gran turismo online race 👍
But in the game they continiue the race and try to kill you more

This is more of a forza online representation although you are correct on a few aspects.

I know they tried to make it more dramatic, but some of these guys were literally trying to murder this dude💀
It’s more a realistic depiction of online racing. You got people who serious about racing then you got assholes like that lambo
But realistically if they do these tactics they will earn a lot of fines and penalties with a possibility of disqualification

I love how this movie acts as both a biopic and a video game adaption. It’s probably the first movie to actually pull it off.
Ong, I be hating the people that are so nitpicky at the movie for some parts being inaccurate, but it said BASED on a true story.. like bruh
Honestly, it was surprisingly good! They added in UI components without it feeling tacky, the story made sense, minimal* unnecessary* drama, and it was legitimately about the racing. Pretty decent acting as well. I enjoyed it.
@@lillotaa But trying to pass the Hungaroring at Silverstone and driving backwards in an (to someone who knows racing completely effortless) attempt to hide it. And then trying to pass the Hungaroring as Le Mans instead of just using CGI? That's pushing it way too far.

@@lillotaa BASED on a true story. BASED. They should have kept it 100% realistic to the story itself, Jann truly had a hard time becoming an actual racing driver from sim racing, considering ALL of his opponents are true racing drivers doing this for years. Even without having them crashing into him without getting a single penalty for their horrible driving... Jann had to accomplish truly unheard of things to truly become a successful driver. I get it, I truly do. They tried to make the movie more "suspenseful" just like any other movie out there, and for entertaining purposes it worked. For anyone who actually is in the racing industry, even sim racers who compete in sim racing events this movie was truly painful to watch in some of these parts. Take Ford V Ferrari for example, as far as I know none of the opponents their tried to ram off anyone else and even if they did it was easier to be done without the FIA noticing anything considering its the 60's... Le Mans clearly didn't have any great equipment back then to follow these kind of stuff. Also the part during the Nissan Racing Academy where he nearly got disqualified then they ask him how he knows the car had a problem and he said "The game truly is realistic" or w/e made me laugh a lot. For anyone who played any other true sim racing game which isn't Gran Turismo knows how this game isn't that realistic. I'm being nitpicky sure but this movie at the most part made 0 sense.
I remember watching this part of the movie, and pointing out to my dad all the penalties and possible fines youd get for racing the way the guy in the gold lambo did

@@alexotero7105it’s a movie about a video game… lol if they made it realistic it wouldn’t have been as entertaining, The fact that the gtr’s mirror was hanging by wires meant that the car should have got meatball flagged pretty much putting him out of the race completely if they did actual follow the rules.

Nick Capa should've got a ton of penalties for this. Either the movie just does not have penalties somehow or that he never gets penaltied.
He would have several sanctions of 5 or 10 seconds until he would be the driver with the most black flags that history has seen before the FIA takes away his license.
The fact that Capa has a GEMERA FOR A LIMO, PISSED ME OFF, idk something about the egotistical rich boy villain makes me angry

Remember its all in licensing agreements with the companies. Thats why Rockstar change their names of the cars in GTA but we know what they’re based on. Gran Turismo can only damage the car for so long before companies complain about it.

It was not the same shift, he downshifted, held rotation, then upshifted after hitting the gas again. Probably to stick to the apex(or trying a double apex).
That makes more sense ngl, and if that was really the case, kudos for perfection then.
