Churakka Sambar :
Tuvar Dal - 1 Cup
Water - 1 Cup
Churakka- 3 Cups
TOMATO - 3 nos
Garlic- 4 Flakes
Big onion- 2 nos
green chilli - 6 nos
Water- 3 Cups
Salt ( according to taste )
Turmeric powder - 3/4 tsp
Curry Leaves
Coriander Powder- 1 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder- 1 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida powder - 1/2 tsp
Coconut oil - 1 1/2 tbs
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp
Small onion- 5 nos
Garlic- 6 - 7 nos
Curry Leaves
dry red chillies - 3 - 4 nos
Asafoetida powder - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

Hi Laxmi chechi.. I have been watching you from so many many years.. The earliest memory I have is watching you every Sunday 2 receipes at kairali tv magic oven followed by flavours of India.. One of your fan myself and my amma.. Lots of love & regards from us. The only thing I would like to say is can you reduce to show usage of oil / salt in your receipes since it's not that healthy, or if u do pls mention that we can lower use as per ones health condition. Many ppl look upto you, especially young generation and freshers bcz your detailing is that fine whn shown, however my only concern is what I have mentioned above. Otherwise, god bless you!
