Obi dont have the force potential to beat Sidious. He was a Master of form 3 with the lightsaber, but his force powers were weak. Palpatine would dominate him!
You forgot the part where mace's special ability is the fact he can do really well against dark side users with the light saber form he uses even if Sidious wasnt holding back mace would have beaten him fair and square

Palpatine actually didnt hold back in the ROTS novel by Matthew Stover and it is the scene we all should've seen instead of what we ended up with.
Technically he only held back against Windu. He certainly didn't hold back against Kolar, Tiin or Fisto.

I think the one thing that makes Anakin stronger then the other Jedi is his attachments because if he focuses on his love for his mother, padme or obi-wan that can make him so much stronger letting go of padme or obi-wan is something that would probably weaken Anakin a lot

Why did Padme die again? In Theory & Canon she either died from a broken heart or was drained by Palpatine to keep Vader alive.
In this, she died due to plot. She literally died by death.

Yeah no. You missed it on this one. Obi Wan wouldn't just start acting like Anakin and turn to the dark side. Also, there was no reason for padme to die in childbirth being that she wasn't forced chocked and didn't have a broken heart.It was a good story up until that part,

The whole idea that Sideous was so much stronger than every Jedi was stupid. I hated it so much.
A thousand years of careful Sith plotting and growing steadily stronger in the shadows while the Jedi grow increasingly comfortable, arrogant, and complacent will do that.
99 percent of fan fictions Sidious isn't this strong. There are some stories where even Obi-Wan helps fight when in reality he would get his neck snapped almost instantly. There are even more stories where the wind blows slightly off course and all the puppet strings completely snap.
If Sidious is truly on par or stronger than the eternal emperor Vitiate, then the only one who should be strong enough to defeat him is a fully realized Skywalker
What if anakin was piloting before attack of the clones and sensed ventress fall to the darkside as her master died and took his ship to the planet to investigate. Perhaps starting a romance as they are very similar in their stories.
Also what if ahsoka taught ben skywalker as she saw him as history repeating itself.

What if anakin went with kenobi to face maul and savage instead of adi gallia.
What if anakin fell in love with luminara or your own version of aayla secura romance.

What if evan piel became a mentor or second master to anakin.
Or anakin became a healer either before or after his mother death could be related to his friendship with offee or alternatively what if he was trained by tra sa who taught windu and actually did not forbid attachment as shown by her relationship with tholme , they could become like a pseudo parents to anakin and train him away from the temple in azati martial arts and from trasa the living force as she is a plant lady so imagine anakin controlling plant life.
Bantha stew when can you make these other what ifs what if Anakin Skywalker was trained by the force itself, his real and true creator and father since birth and things still play out and work out as we know in the original timeline except Anakin saves qui gon his mother still with Padme because those two are meant for each other. Yeah ngl I did not like this one, feels like you didn’t understand any of these characters. No one acted like themselves and sidious is very powerful but not that powerful, and Obi wan could never be that powerful. Nor would padme die, there’s no reason she would cause anakin never turns

Sorry, but that’s nonsense. There’s no reason Padme would die in this timeline. Her pregnancy and birth were perfectly normal and healthy. With Anakin by her side, she would not lose the will to live.
