Question for you FloatLife, how do you feel about the Forza+ tire that comes with this board? It looks like a copy of your Enduro, tread design is very very similar, but the tire is cheaper.
I have the product now and I am blown away of it is performance. This is the highest quality PEV I have tried so far. I did not want to stop riding last evening. It is so much fun to ride this wheel.
Can't say enough how impressive your transparency is Tony. Although I'm a layman regarding manufacturing processes, I really appreciate your knowledge and how much you share in these videos. I hope you and the team get the rest you deserve, and these hurdles smooth out for you all!
Take your time, and build it right! That’s the most important thing to this community. I would assume most people buying one of your boards already have an FM board that they’re riding. We are supporting Floatwheel because we really believe in what your doing. It’s ridiculous that Future Motion has been able to defend their fraudulent patents to the extent that they have. It’s time for some honest competition in this space. If FW can deliver a better product for the same price, you’re gonna get a lot of customers in the long run. That’s my hope and dream for FW, this is just the start hopefully for you guys. Quality is King.

I'm sure those videos will also serve as how-to-videos for FM. Keep up the good work, Tony. I have much respect for the knowledge and dedication. But do not push your limits to hard! In long term you'll be more efficient with less working hours per day. Burning out on this project is not worth it. I'm ok with waiting a bit longer as long as I get an awsome product in the end and updates on the status in the meantime.

If the new cells are better than the p42a molicels, why not upgrade the adv pro buyers first (until the batteries run out based on priority of who ordered 1st) and then upgrade the regular adv purchases to p42a molicels? you get more happy customers because more customers are upgraded. unless there's a downfall to the new cells? like temperature rating? I chose adv pro because we get very cold here in winter and the cold temp rating of it was more suitable.
It could be given as an option if people want to take the risk. I'm sure Sony wouldn't use batteries that aren't good enough. Regardless the batteries are going to a customer, why not give the option to the adv pro buyers first? Give them the pros and cons
When I asked (I'm order #1730), he said it would be in the 2nd batch, but I'm guessing that with delays for some parts, maybe the 2nd batch could kinda catch up with the 1st? Who knows.
😢so the best news of your videos are the mega cells of Sony… that I … who put the order in as number# 37 (for a adv pro), will NOT benefit from, because these few cells will go the non „pro“ orders? ? not the soooo good news for me at this point😮? They can't. Don't remember all the details (pretty sure its another video on the channel, go look for it) but they used to do paypal for other stuff but FM did what FM does and fucked it for them on the grounds of patent infringement. So they need to do crypto bc its not centralized and thus can't be blocked the same way by FM.
I set up a crypro account on Coinbase just for this Floatwheel. I thought of it as a big thing but is was just as easy as opening a normal bank account. I wouldn't that hold me back and deny myself this amazing machine for the coming years🤙🤙🤙

They don't have a custom app as far as I'm aware. But as it's VESC based, you can use all VECS apps (e.g. VESC Tool). So no leaderboard but a ton of customization options (almost too much).
A delay ain’t no thang. Hell, it ain’t even race season yet!

I think the molicel was still more expensive and has a proven history. The new battery is a bit of an unknown
