I really liked both dresses - very easy to wear and, as you say, ideal for the 2 days of summer that we hope we're going to get. 😃 (We're still sleeping under 15 togs up here in the frozen north east!). I do like Bonmarché and I find they're pretty reliable for sizing. Good afternoon Linda, I bought a pack of three bras the other day from Amazon, they weren't underwired so probably not that supportive but I don't have much to fill them so it's not a problem for me 🙄. However they are super comfy! Love love love the cards...so handy for the summer. The both dresses I think would look better if you had a more supportive bra on because then the empire line would come underneath you bust and be more flattering......they both look lovely though. Before I retired, I was a chiropodist for over 30 years. I always recommended using a large foot file on dry feet then the hard skin is buffed off as a powder. Then when you apply your moisturiser it will absorb easily. Imogen x

I loved the dresses and cardigan something I would wear. I haven’t used the moisturising foot socks but i have sat with my feet in a bowl of those fish wow that was a weird experience it didn’t get rid of all the hard skin but I had to try it. I think green tea tastes disgusting and wish I could drink it but no it’s not for me. Have a good weekend 😊

Hi Linda, another lovely chat ! Loved the dresses and cardigan and really liked the skirt, it was very slimming on you, suited your taller frame. The only thing regarding the blue dress was the high neckline, I would find it a bit claustrophobic in warm weather but you looked great in it ❤
Would you ever think of going to bravissimo I bought a bra from there last week and the bra fitting and service was brilliant. Way better than m&s I’m a 42f so was offered a wide range and touch wood have had no problems at all with them.

I know what you mean by having trouble finding clothing that fits. I'm 5'3" and have wide feet, so I have very reduced choices for footwear (80-90% of shoes disappear when I say I want wide), pants, and any kind of coat or jacket. That only leaves shirts and most sweaters that I can buy in regular sizes. As for the feet, petroleum jelly/Vaseline (I'm in the USA) put on the feet followed by socks and worn overnight is an inexpensive alternative to expensive products.
That's a good tip and thank you also for your comments. I thought people in the US were suited better for plus size clothing and shoes, so I'm surprised and sorry that you struggle so much x
@@LindaTee70 The USA does have some great plus-size clothing lines. At QVC, everything comes in plus and regular. I'm petite but not plus, which has a lot fewer options here. It's very hard to find outerwear and pants in petites.

It seems whatever general shape or size you are - plus, petite, average, pear shaped, apple shaped - we're all unique and have to just hope for the best, unless you can afford bespoke!! I really liked the cardigan and the last dress. I think these shops think because your a size 20 your 6ft 2 tall !! Drives me nuts. Today I got a big shock I went to Boots to do this thing called Our Future Health basically it’s a research program. They do your height, weight ,cholesterol, , blood pressure etc. Well I was always 5 ft 4 today she tells me I’m 5ft 1-1/2 !! I thought no wonder everything is miles to long on me 😂 . Considering we’ve just got back from 2 weeks in Greece she said I was 5lbs lighter than on my scales so I’ll take that lol. Can’t believe this weather we’ve had the heating on since we got back 😢 xx
Yes ! Youv'e just said what I've been saying - clothes today are all far too long, who exactly are they designed for? Giraffes? I was in H&M yesterday looking for some linen blend trousers, they had loads but they were all about a mile long in the leg😮 I left empty-handed and very disappointed. Same issue in Next 🙄Couldn't find any trousers anywhere in my leg length.😕
Hello Linda. Looked up the shops you mentioned. Think they are in the old John Lewis shop. My daughter worked there and was made redundant when the shop closed. A very sad day for lots of the staff. Trewins as it used to be called years back in Queens road was my favourite shop when younger. We have a JL in Milton Keynes. Its not the same. Or it’s just me getting older. I did like the two dresses. The v neck one suited you best. I’m not a fan of cardigans. Always make me feel ‘lumpy’. Have you got the dates for the couple of hot days? It’s just rain and more rain plus chilly here in Northants. ❤x

Oh Linda, you've just touched on my pet hate. That thing with some clothing companies twho, when they size garment patterns up, increase the length of the arms, legs and hems. I've just bought a jumpsuit from Sea Salt and it is all of 7 inches too long. And I'm an average height (I think) of 5' 6", so not a shorty. Orangutans and giraffes we are NOT! And Sea Salt are one of the worst offenders. Good quality if a bit overpriced, and they could probably save us £20 in excess fabric if they cut them to be us shaped! Liked your haul, but vastly preferred the second dress. The first one was a little bit severe on you and the more casual, lighter dress really gave you a brighter look. The 'holey' cardigan looked really nice on you but I know that would be a disaster for me, due to my unfortunate ability to get attached to any passing object from a bag fastener to someone else's zip, or a door knob. I haven't done much better with those foot packs either, unfortunately. It ought to be a great easy way to give your feet a treat, but if you have to stand with one on, your feet slide dangerously inside the 'sock'. And one time I was allergic to the 'socks and spent days afterwards, itching and scratching. Hope it works better for you. Thanks Linda.

I tried a foot mask recently and loved it. Plan ahead so you have a towel to walk on to the bathroom to rinse it off so you don't fall.
