An introduction to and overview of the popular tool developed by Will Schutz in 1958 to help people understand and improve their relationships at home and work.
Thank you for this gift Will Schutz gratitude to you and your efforts. Spiraltraining thank you for posting this video, and to you Spiral or whoever created/edited the video, thank you for creating something meaningful to post which can improve people's lives.
Well, glad the 'Training Bite' concept is working for you, communicationcompass. The whole idea is that viewers end up having learned something in under 10 minutes... and have resources to go on and learn more if they choose! Thanks for all your support and encouragement.
Thanks for commenting, ETBX1. I agree with you about FIRO-B often being seen as a 'poor cousin' of MBTI, which is a shame. Glad you like the FIRO-B concept... I think it's really helpful in assisting people to understand ways to improve their relationships.
El aspecto más interesante es que Shutz trabajaba el desarrollo espiritual para militares de USA. Un aspecto muy vigente hoy en día. One of the most interesenting ideas is that Shutz try to develop the spiritually in US militars, a very actual issue in the 2,000 era.
@spiraltraining. Thank you for this nice short video. I work a lot with Will Schutz' theories. In the format of "The Human Element" and "Radical Collaboration". It works really well. I would love to see more illustrations here at CZcams. Be aware that the term "affection" is now known the "openess" dimension, after Will Shutz changed this.
The FIRO concept is great. There's a temperament system based on it called the Arno Profile System, which goes further and identifies inborn temperament. MBTI and FIRO have only been correlated statistically (with varying results), however, conceptually, they can be matched more closely. (E/I fits expressed Inclusion pretty well, for instance!) But FIRO (co-owned with MBTI by CPP, Inc) unfortunately is like a side dish to MBTI, which is more popular.

Thanks, manolobernales. I didn't know that about Schulz, so it's to learn that.
