For the new Secrets Tulum resort, you forgot to mention a key missing component of this resort. This resort isn't located on a beach. In fact, you actually have to take a shuttle to the beach. I'll like Secrets and have stayed in a few with my dog. Secrets Moxché and Impressions were my favs but unfortunately, Secrets Tulum might be a hard pass.
My time at the hideaway Royalton riviera, Cancun was awful during 2023. the restaurants there was utterly disappointing and a waste of my time. the Zen restaurant tasted like rubbish as their tempura was soggy and wet & the yakitori was undercooked and cold. Another restaurant i went to was the Hunter steakhouse, their steak was thinner then a sheet of paper and whatever meat was on the steak was all fat, it was also drier then a desert. I also went to a Spanish restaurant (Agave) which was cold and salty. their food is a mockery of Spanish cuisine. Dorado seafood was also pretty lackluster as their four course meal was a robbery of my wallet. but worse then the food was the service at the front desk. they ignored my request and needs such as getting me to the correct room. it also took them a day for them to bring me a few q-tips and an extra blanket. the beds were just disgusting, it honestly made me gag, there was mold and and some other unidentifiable liquids (maybe blood) on the entire bed. plus the bed they gave me wasn't even the one i asked for, i requested for a king sized bed but got a queen sized one instead. it took them 2 days to give me the correct bed i wanted. although most of the employees were nice there was one employee (Daniel) who was very rude.

We're booked for Secrets Tulum opening week. Fingers crossed that it's on schedule. I've been in contact with them and so far it looks good.
